    hello, have this soldering station problem with grounded boards?

    C210 tips are used to solder small smd chips and components. They do not have thermal mass to handle connectors and bigger solder joints. They are made to solder sop, sto23, and those small package types.

    Is it any better than regular soldering kit for smd component removal/soldering ?

    Hello, I ordered 40W with 210 handle, so when I buy 245 handle the station will be able to power it with 120W right?

      See my comment on the follow-up video with C245 handle (yes it seem to deliver more power for C245).

    I get an "OCP" error when I attach one of my tips (1 in and 3 spares combo) the others are all ok. Any ideas?

    Nice review, but a teardown is missing. I got one of these for 43€ (incl. fast shipping to DE). Also from the inside, the bulid-quality is very high. MCU is a HC32L130J8TA (STM32 clone?). The PSU looks like somethings that can do more than 40W. I guess C245 is no issues with these C210-unit.

      Why disassemble something that works. This station operates on pulse duty cycle. At 115\210 there are pulses of 2-5 milliseconds of 24 volts. On the 245 knob the pulses are simply wider

    • @deterdamel7380
      @deterdamel7380 Год назад +4

      @@DoshaYama Because it's a standard for a good review. Or do you like average?
      You can power a 120W rated cartridge with 40W, by chosing the right duty-cycle. The question was: can it deliver 120W (today I know: yes, thanks -surprise- teardown )

    • @DoshaYama
      @DoshaYama Год назад

      @@deterdamel7380 Agree. I also did the right reviews and watched a lot of the right reviews. But is it worth spending time on? How can you measure the power of a soldering machine if it is controlled by pulses? Therefore, I believe that many correct reviews very often lead to confusion. People watch, buy and then get disappointed. This station works well with a 245 handle and that means it's over 70 watts. Is it worth talking about power in this case, and if so, what kind of power? If power is supplied to the soldering tip in bursts of 5 ms 24V pulses. What power are we talking about?Judging by its size, it has a five-amp pulse voltage converter. Let's use Ohm's law without opening the device. 120W\24V=5A😀

    Hvordan går forsendelsen igennem til dk? Told og snot du ved? Amazon har kun 210 modellen og 245eren er da værd at få fat i.

      Fra Aliexpress er told/moms (vat) inkluderet i prisen. Jeg købte igennem Yihua hvor de sender fra EU, med 5-7 dages levering. Så der burde ikke være yderligere omkostninger. Jeg har modtaget C245 grebet, men har endnu ikke brugt det, regner med at lave en opføgende video på et tidspunkt.

      @@whcvip Super. Går og overvejer c245 oveni eller Aixun T3A. Men når det hele kan fåes i eu fra Yuhoo, så kan ventetiden skæres noget af. Synes dog kvaliteten er lidt iffy med Yuhoo kontra T3A. Jbc spidser har de begge og bliver spændende at se forskellen mod OG varmelegemer og skrupå spidser...

    • @whcvip
      @whcvip  Год назад +1

      @@Hemshemsems Tror det er Yihua der laver de fleste loddestationer på aliexpress, eller som minimum indmaden. De der ligner originale JBC stationer kan naturligvis kun sælges fra Kina. Så de officielle stationer fra Yihua, som de selv ligger navn til, er der en større forskel fra JBCs 'design. Så du kan kun bruge spidserne fra JBC, ikke kolben. Men alt i alt, gav lige over 400 kr med 5 dages levering, og inklusiv 4 spidser. Til den pris kan jeg ikke beklage mig. Har virket rigtigt godt indtil videre. Langsigtet kan jeg naturligvis ikke udtale mig om, men efter et kig indeni syntes jeg de er ret godt konstrueret. Hvis den bare holder et par år er jeg personligt mere end tilfreds :).

      @@whcvip Amazon sælger den for 950, og der må være et godt prishop der. Jeg kan godt forstå at kolben evt er anderledes og spidserne er vigtigst og de passer jo.. Mit brug er også hobby og min gamle Monacor var ligeså ganske fornuftig til mit brug.. Hvad koster c245 delen og synes ikke rigtig jeg kan finde et sted i eu at købe direkte?

      Yes he was struggling with a medium joint even though he turned the heat up. I think that's why they call it "precision", its just for small detailed work. Very confusing review. Thanks for that comment. I have the cheaper YIHUA 939D+ III EVO and it heats a 30mm by 3mm round copper bar up in a few seconds, really powerful unit.

      @@ForrestLambert.2022 Hello the YIHUA 939D+ III EVO I have got will also perform well with small surface mount stuff. It is the best station I have owned and have used many in years gone by, love it. Probably cheaper than the 982D because the technology is older generation using a ceramic heating element but still works really well, heats up in 12 seconds. The 982D has the newer tech and you can change the tips (which have the elements inside them) while in use. For the 939D one has to let the iron cool down to change the tip, not a big deal for me. The 982 has a bigger watt handle which is bought separately, the c245 as are the tips to go with it there is a review of it by WHCVIP. Hope this helps.

      @@leso204 Good idea. I do that with some LED lights. I 3d printed a base for my unit to tilt it up more so I can see the display more. I also fitted a couple of bendy water pipes on the sides of the base with crocodile clips as helping hands. I might reprint the base and put a drawer in it for storage. I did 3d print a tip holder and fitted it on the side wherethe solder wire holder fits to. I prefer a solder wire holder I can move about and has the tip cleaner next to it.
