Here before the “what combos bro, just mash 22222, easy win OP out of place character, you’re paid off by Bandai, Yes you heard me right ThePaidMan” comments
Remember that they all called Victor, Eddy, and Lidia one button characters when they came out. They will do the same for the next characters to come out
Yeah, this is one of few ways (outside of floor breaak/blast) which allows multiple odins hits in one combo. Since you'll get another odin hit attempt at the wall.
For the ch ff2 combo on females, i found that if you do a half/full sidestep right after the launch (don't micro step, you have to cover some distance), you can do the max damage staple (d1, ws4, db1+2,1) everytime. I tested this on Ling and it's just as consistent as when you use this combo on the males. No sacrificing damage!
A good staple that works on both male and female characters is launcher, 1, b2, then proceed with the db1+2, 1 etc. It works for almost all launchers including counter hit ones like db4
the route i have been using for wall carry and damage that works on everyone is launcher (df2 ect) db1+2,1, 3, dash 4,4 f 2,1 ~ df1,2 (or b1) f 2,1, or 1, or 2,2
332 is busted among many others. Ws2, db1+2, 1, 22, 332 will give you 84 dmg. This is literally easier than all of Alisa’s combo. Better yet, if you manage to lv5 the zan, just use that instead of 332 for the same combo for a whopping 95 dmg. But it’s not as common. However ws2 is ultra common. Just block one hell sweep or snake and you got em half off. These are no heat combos btw.
What would u suggest for smaller maps or being a bit close to the wall, Id say the mid air attack variants won't work Btw, I don't have him yet still Im curious
With floor blast you can get almost 2 full bars off a counter hit ff2. An easy one would be FF2CH> 1 > 2,2,1+2 > 2,2,2 > out of phoenix shift 2,2. Gets 3 odin sword attacks in one combo lol, you can prob squeeze more damage in with a different combo but that one is easy to pull off and the ff2 will prime the floor for 2,2,1+2 to start the floor blast.
I'm surprised yesterday I fought Clive players 1 hour straight and got rundown of course then I'm thankful after that I got to matched with real Tekken characters. The whiff punish from one airport to another wall splat heat engager is salt inducing in the highest leve.
@@dontaskmeman both end up standing and Clive at -1 which kinda sucks since you want to keep momentum after a wallcombo, its cool to get some meter but not at the cost of losing your turn
@ I get where you’re coming from but this guy is especially boring with his stance dash into 50/50 where one of the mids is an armour move? His b1+2 can hit almost full screen, it’s minus on block but the push back is too far that I can’t punish with Electric. His F1+2 is plus and tracks on both sides. Did I mention he has a sword?
I love the part where Clive goes bagoosh bagoosh bagoosh bagoosh
i too love that part

People easily block 22222 cause it's all mid attcks
glad to see they are wrong seeing that Clive plays differently...
50 something damage vs all the other cool stuff he can do.
Remember that they all called Victor, Eddy, and Lidia one button characters when they came out. They will do the same for the next characters to come out
"Build METER....BIG ZAN!!"
Say no more fam.
MUH PROMINENCE!!
😂😂😂
8:26 instead of stance 21, you can do stance 22b for wall travel, has better recovery

But.. my prominence ..
OH BOY IT'S 5AM, TIME TO WATCH MAINMAN
Brother, what is sleep anyway. I am done at work xD

2:40 Clive explained in layman's terms
we need command history old man 😭
I'm at work until 7am I hope he's out for use mere standard edition mortals
@6:09 and @6:40 LMFAO
TMM please never change
So… you need bar combos to set the bar? That’s bars!

The combo inconsistencies with the female characters needs to be fixed
D1,ws4 works on females if you side step left first
Leo gender confirmed

D1 ws4 actually doesn’t work on Leo. For some reason.
"if that doesnt kill you nothing will"
what about 16 hours?
What would u suggest for smaller maps or being a bit close to the wall, Id say the mid air attack variants won't work
Btw, I don't have him yet still Im curious
im really having a hard time getting down all his combos
Can you get multiple odin hits in one combo?
Not without a floor break I believe

@gavin8216 wouldnt ending it with the odin heat smash give you more?
Lol they even made the zantetsuken just a copy of ffxvi, way less damage for the bigger damage.

I'l COOM
Zantetsuken is way too strong
We honestly need a more efficient method of building meter since you'd most likely consume it in one go (1+4 move) so very time consuming
Eh, I think he's solid without Zan I rather not have him rely on Zan
now you're asking for too much
I think making a choice about combos instead of having everything streamlined to be optimal with less choice is healthy for the character.
This guy thinks hes playing the actual FF16 instead of a fighting game
As someone who loves Clive dearly I don't think he needs this at all 😂 he's fine as is I think
Masku!
i wouldnt recommend 2,2,1+2 as wall ender since you end up in a bad disadvantage if they quick tech back...
The frames say -29 but I tested it and I don't think it's actually that bad
@@dontaskmeman both end up standing and Clive at -1 which kinda sucks since you want to keep momentum after a wallcombo, its cool to get some meter but not at the cost of losing your turn
I for one don't care about zantetsuken too much cause every Odin attack is 100% recoverable
Most clives doing suck. Bruh the character is out for 3 days lmao
We playing Soul Calibur 7 with this one ☝️
Nah, Soul Calibur doesn't juggle people around for a thousand year
Should've added Guts instead
bro please be fr😒
Guts design too basic
No, he isn't from FF.
Anyone but miguel looking ass😂
Guts would have been a cool choice The list of "should have added instead" gets longer
this character is so unbearably boring to fight, everything is a 50/50. even when i win i dont feel accomplished
thats just the game in general

@hamooddd Yoshi and Victor also have a sword and they're higher on the tier list than Clive. So whats the problem?
