The fact is they are supposed to be making a successor to the Switch, instead they have just changed 1 function (the switch function which was iconic as we all know) and made it slightly bigger. This should have been a spin off console if not less. It looks dreadful and we can't see it having a good outcome for the future of Nintendo - therefore the heavy criticism.
@@jrsgamingpodcast That is the dumbest reason to hate on the Switch 2 I've seen. I'm not even a big Nintendo fan anymore, but this is literally what EVERYONE was crying out for, for ages. The whole switch function was in relation to the fact that it can "switch" from home console to portable. It actually looks sleek and grown up, which is again, a big criticism of previous consoles, that it was too "kiddy". The outcome is going to be huge because more people are going to actually play it and not feel like it's only for first party games. Keep hating 🤣🤣
Great episode! About your health, I wouldn't worry too much about drinking lots of coffee and vaping. Drinking plain black coffee (without sugar) is actually pretty healthy. As for vaping, if you were smoking before, vaping is definitely better than smoking. But yeah, cutting down on sugar and hitting the gym this summer is a solid move Judis it'll do wonders for your mental health. It’s helped me a lot with my autism and similar challenges we both face each day. As for the Nintendo Switch, I totally agree no need to upgrade. I mainly play Mario Kart and a few other Nintendo originals on mine, and I always use the dock for TV, which gives me 1080p. It’ll be interesting to see how much they charge for the new Switch, though it’s probably going to be something crazy like £800 lol. At that point, you might as well just grab a Steam Deck since the specs are way better and you can do more with it. When it comes to upgrading consoles, phones, or whatever, it’s always worth asking yourself if you really need the latest model of any phone, console, graphics card etc. I was also expecting Nintendo to drop a Pro version with more premium hardware, and who knows it might still happen at the next Direct event, we'll see I guess. Great podcast as always!
Thanks for the kind words and Encouragement man! Completely agree with there on the Switch topic! At this point, the older consoles are starting come out on top rather then the new ones! Sadly Nintendo isn't learning from their MANY mistakes
If someone could say can you imagine the LAZIEST possible design for the switch 2 what would it be and that is it. How after 8 years has their design team not come up with anything? The same overall feel of laziness has come across on many of their recent games. Zero innovation. This company was the most innovate, the most creative, the most fun, that's why everyone loved them. It will probably be similar price to a flagship handheld pc. id rather get a new ally and emulate all the old nintendo games that were actually good
We completely agree with you! Nintendo has the time and money to at least improve the Nintendo Switch but instead they do the worst possible thing - take away the iconic features. As they seem to be doing lately along with the shutdown of the 3ds. As a Nintendo podcast we try to find stick up for the good things about the company but lately they are making that very hard to do 😂
How many different ways can you redesign a tablet with detachable controllers?? The level of unnecessary hate is through the roof 😂😂
There is plenty actually. That's probably the only valid argument I can see 🤣🤣🤣.

@@kyurei4478 How would you change the design of a tablet? Make it a triangle?? 🤣🤣

@ob1slam No??? I would simply change ergonomics to make it fit in one's hands better, use more angular forms and so on...not rocket science 🤣🤣🤣.
