I understand that it might seem worthy of mockery to you, but listen to my advice: never make fun of someone else's misfortunes. That person might have just been raised in a different way. It’s not only unfair but also cruel to mock others' difficulties. Everyone has their own challenges and the reasons behind them can be very complex and individual. It’s better to show understanding and compassion rather than judge. Support and empathy can have a significant positive impact in difficult times. If you have the opportunity to help, it can make a big difference in someone else’s life

Choosing the right partner with good character is 90% of the work. The man who wrote the comment failed from the start in picking a woman who wants an expensive lifestyle. His fault, his responsibility.
in this context of his marriage and obviously the women leeching and using the religious (deen) duty on the man of paying for everything whilst its clear by his statements she isn't putting in any effort what so ever regarding the deen of being dutiful to her husband and child and instead go for the greedy route of living under a room for free and free meals whilst she get her degree to possibly loook to bounce . @@abdulmojid4133 the Islamic emirate has deemed higher education in secular studies for women unnecessary and not in accordance with the Shari'a. Men are required to provide for their wives and familes whilst women are to stay at home , raise children and perform domestic tasks. The problem with feminist or graduated woman is that they feel they deserve the same respect as man in societies as well as be the man in the house. One of they Woman preacher said that in order to have a sustainable marriage the wife must have unconstitutional respect for their husband.

Yes she's using islam right now by saying it's a man's islamic duty to provide. But you'll see her islam going right outta the window when it comes to taking advantage of the man incase of a divorce. Ahmed In Twelver Shia Islam, the Major Occultation (Arabic: ٱلْغَيْبَة ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ, al-Ghaybah al-Kubrā, 329 AH-present, 941 CE-present) is the second occultation of the Hidden Imam, Muhammad al-Mahdi, which is expected to continue until his rise in the end of time to establish peace and justice on earth. While various sects disagree about the identity of the eschatological Mahdi, the belief in him remains popular among all Muslims, possibly owing to numerous traditions to this effect in canonical Sunni and Shia sources. The Major Occultation began in 329 AH (941 CE) with the death of the fourth successive agent of the Hidden Imam, Abu al-Hasan al-Samarri, marking the end of the Minor Occultation (260-329 AH, 874-941 CE). According to Twelver sources, shortly before his death, al-Samarri received a letter from the Hidden Imam, which predicted his imminent death, ordered him not to designate a successor, and announced the beginning of the "complete occultation," in which there would be no agent of the Hidden Imam, though he is believed by the Twelvers to remain responsible for the affairs of men and their inward spiritual guidance during the occultation. The Twelver theory of occultation crystallized in the first half of the fourth (tenth) century based on rational and textual arguments. This theory, for instance, sets forth that the life of Muhammad al-Mahdi has been miraculously prolonged, arguing that the earth cannot be void of the Imam as the highest proof of God. In the absence of the Hidden Imam, the leadership vacuum in the Twelver community was gradually filled by jurists. It is popularly held that the Hidden Imam occasionally appears to the pious, and the accounts of these encounters are numerous and widespread among the Twelvers. Background Until their deaths, the tenth and eleventh Shia Imams (Ali al-Hadi and Hasan al-Askari, respectively) were held under close surveillance in the garrison town of Samarra by the Abbasids,[1][2] who are often responsible in Shia sources for poisoning the two Imams.[3] Contemporary to the tenth Imam, the Abbasid al-Mutawakkil heavily persecuted the Shia,[4][5] partly due to a renewed Zaydi opposition.[6] The restrictive policies of al-Mutawakkil towards the tenth Imam were later adopted by his son, al-Mu'tamid, who is reported to have kept the eleventh Imam under house arrest without any visitors.[7] Instead, al-Askari is known to have mainly communicated with his followers through a network of representatives.[5][8] Among them was Uthman ibn Sa'id,[9] who is said to have disguised himself as a seller of cooking fat to avoid the Abbasid agents, hence his nickname al-Samman.[10] Tabatabai suggests that these restrictions were placed on al-Askari because the caliphate had come to know about traditions among the Shia elite, predicting that the eleventh Imam would father the eschatological Mahdi.[11] Death of al-Askari Al-Askari died in 260 (873-874) without an obvious heir.[12][13] Immediately after the death of the eleventh Imam,[14] his main representative, Uthman ibn Sa'id,[15] claimed that the Imam had an infant son, named Muhammad,[16][14] who was kept hidden from the public out of fear of Abbasid persecution,[17] as they sought to eliminate an expected child of al-Askari, whom persistent rumors described as a savior.[18] Uthman also claimed that he had been appointed to represent Muhammad,[19] who is more commonly known as Muhammad al-Mahdi (lit. 'the rightly guided').[20] Being the closest associate of al-Askari,[21] Uthman's assertions were largely accepted by other representatives of al-Askari.[16][22] Those who accepted the imamate of this Muhammad later formed the Twelvers.[23] The other sects created over the succession of al-Askari disappeared within a hundred years.[23][13] Minor Occultation (260-329 AH, 874-941 CE) Thus began a period of about seventy years, later termed the Minor Occultation (al-ghaybat al-sughra), during which it is believed that four successive agents represented Muhammad al-Mahdi, the Hidden Imam.[18] The fourth agent, Abu al-Hasan al-Samarri, is said to have received a letter from Muhammad al-Mahdi shortly before his death in 941 CE.[24][25] The letter predicted the death of al-Samarri in six days and announced the beginning of the "complete occultation,"[26][27][25] later called the Major Occultation, which continues to this day.[28] The letter, ascribed to Muhammad al-Mahdi, added that the complete occultation would continue until God permitted him to manifest himself again in a time when the earth would be filled with tyranny.[26] Upon the death of al-Samarri The Major Occultation, a term coined later, began in 329 (940-941) with the death of the fourth agent, al-Samarri, who did not designate a successor. In this period, which continues today, there is no agent of the Hidden Imam.[26][29] There is some evidence that the death of the fourth agent also dissolved the underground network of representatives responsible primarily for the collection and distribution of the religious donations.[30][18] The office of deputyship was thus formally closed.[31] Despite some uncertainty,[32] there were likely early traditions among the Shia that had already predicted the two periods of occultation.[33] These hadiths were previously cited, for instance, by the Waqifites in reference to the two arrests of Musa al-Kazim, the seventh Imam.[34][33] Nevertheless, the prolonged absence of the Hidden Imam seems to have created widespread doubts among his followers.[35][36][18] Leadership vacuum As both the spiritual and political head of the Twelver community, the occultation of the Hidden Imam left a significant gap.[37] This leadership vacuum was eventually filled by Twelver jurists (fuqaha), who remain the sole leaders of the Twelver community during the Major Occultation.[38][39] Often cited to support this transition is a letter received by Ishaq ibn Ya'qub in response to his religious inquiries of the second agent,[40] Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Uthman (d. 916-17).[24] The letter, said to have been written by al-Mahdi, stipulated that As for the events which may occur [in future when you may need guidance in religious matters] refer to the transmitters (ruwat) of our sayings (hadith) who are my hujja (lit. 'proof') to you and I am the hujja of God to you all [or "to them" in another version].[41][42] - ascribed to al-Mahdi A few similar hadiths are attributed to the tenth and eleventh Imams.[43][44] The traditions also specify that these jurists must be just and knowledgeable in Islamic law.[45] As the absence of the Hidden Imam continued, however, the Twelver jurists evolved from mere transmitters (ruwat) of hadith to mujtahidun in order to resolve new religious questions that arose over time.[46][47] Their authority also increased with time to address the need to explicate religious teachings for the community.[48] For instance, as early as the seventh (thirteenth) century, Muhaqqiq al-Hilli (d. 1277) spent the Imam's share of Khums (a type of Islamic alms) on activities that furthered the cause of Shia,[49] as opposed to his predecessors, such as al-Mufid (d. 1022), who often asked the faithful to save these donations for the rise of al-Mahdi.[50] Considering that jurists were not directly appointed by the Hidden Imam, it was debated whether their authority should extend to functions with political implications, such as declaring holy war (jihad).[51] It was likely Shahid al-Thani (d. 1558) who first suggested that a (qualified) jurist was the general deputy (na'ib al-amm) of the Hidden Imam whose authority encompassed all prerogatives of the Imam.[52] The transition of Twelver jurists into their new role was facilitated by the formation of Shia states, particularly the Safavid[53] and Qajar[54][55] dynasties in Iran. For instance, during the Russo-Iranian war of 1804-13, the eminent clerics of Najaf and Isfahan issued a declaration of jihad against the Russians to support the Qajarite Abbas Mirza, who was conducting the campaign.[56] Later on, however, jurists often had to compete with the Shia monarchs for religious authority.[51] In sum, the politically quiescent approach of the Twelver jurists over time gave way to eventually questioning the legitimacy of Shia monarchs and even attempts to restrict their power through a constitution.[57] This evolution culminated with the concept of wilayat al-faqih (lit. 'guardianship of the jurist') by Khomeini, the religious leader of the Iranian revolution in 1979, who called upon religious scholars to assume an active role after the toppling of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the last monarch of Iran.[58]

'intellect') is an Arabic term used in Islamic philosophy and theology for the intellect or the rational faculty of the soul that connects humans to God. According to Islamic beliefs, 'aql is what guides humans towards the right path (sirat al-mustaqim) and prevents them from deviating. In jurisprudence, it is associated with using reason as a source for sharia and has been translated as 'dialectical reasoning'.[2][3][4][5] Etymology The term "al-'aql" in Arabic is derived from the root word "ql," which means to bind. In Islamic thought, it is used to describe the faculty that connects individuals to God.[6] It is usually translated in English as intellect, intelligence, reason or rational faculty.[7] In the Quran The Quran doesn't use the word "aql" explicitly, but its verbal forms such as yaʿqelūn appear 49 times. Intellect is important because it allows humans to understand God's signs in nature (2:164, 13:4, 16:12, 23:80) and in the Quran or other scriptures (2:44, 3:65, 3:118, 10:16, 11:51). Intellect prevents humans from committing actions that would lead them to punishment in hell (67:10). Moreover, it allows individuals to comprehend that the afterlife is better than this world (6:32, 7:161, 12:109, 28:60). Those who lack intellect are seen as the worst creatures in God's sight ("Surely the worst of beasts in God's eyes are those who are deaf and dumb and do not use their intellect") (8:22).[8][7] Elsewhere, the Quran says: "Have they not traveled in the earth that they might have hearts with which to intellect and ears with which to hear? Surely the eyes are not blind, but blind are the hearts within the breasts". (22:46).[7] In the perspective of Islam it is precisely ‘aql which keeps man on the straight path (the sirat al-mustaqim) and prevents him from going astray. That is why so many verses of the Quran equate those who go astray with those who cannot use their intellect (as in the verses wa la ya‘qilun, ‘they do not understand’ or literally ‘use their intellect’-the verb ya‘qilun deriving from the root ‘aqala which is related to ‘aql; or the verse la yafqahun, ‘they understand not’, the verb yafqahun being related to the root faqiha which again means comprehension or knowledge.)[9] - Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Sufi Essays, 1972 Moreover, the term ūlu’l-albāb (possessors of intellect) is mentioned 16 times in the Quran, and commentators often associate their "lobb" with intellect. The Quran (39:9) poses a rhetorical question, asking whether those who possess knowledge and those who do not are equal. The answer, according to the Quran, is that only the ūlu’l-albāb (the possessors of intellects) are the ones who remember and understand the significance of God's signs.[8] In Sunni and Shia sources While Sunni Hadiths acknowledge the value of intellect, Shia Hadith collections contain a larger number of traditions that praise it. The connection between intellect and sound religious faith and practice is emphasized in both Sunni and Shia traditions. According to Ḡazzālī, the Prophet said that intellect is the foundation of the believer, and it determines the extent of their worship. The Shiʿite sources, in particular, stress the idea that intellect is the foundation of all positive moral qualities. In that vein, Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādeq defines intellect as the means by which one worships the All-Merciful and attains Paradise.[8] The term ‘aql was heavily elucidated by early Shī‘ah thinkers; it came to replace and expand the pre-Islamic concept of ḥilm (Arabic: حلم) "serene justice and self-control, dignity" in opposition to the negative notions of ignorance (jahl) and stupidity (safah).[3] The "possessor of ‘aql", or al-‘āqīl (plural al-‘uqqāl) realises a deep connection with God. Jaʿfar aṣ-Ṣādiq (d. 765, notably an Imām) described this connection as a realisation that God loves some, that God is truth and that only ‘ilm "sacred knowledge" and its development can help humanity fulfil its potential. His son, Imām Mūsà al-Kāżim (d. 799), expanded this exegesis by defining ‘aql as the "faculty for apprehending the divine, a faculty of metaphysical perception, a light in the heart, through which one can discern and recognize signs from God."[3] He further noted that where the A'immah (Imāms) are the ḥujjatu ż-żāhira "External proof [of God]", ‘aql is the ḥujjatu l-Bāṭina "Secret proof".[3] While in early Islam, ‘aql was opposed to jahl "ignorance", the expansion of the concept meant it was now opposed to safah "[deliberate] stupidity" and junūn "lack of sense, indulgence". Under the influence of Mu‘tazilī thought, ‘aql came to mean "dialectical reasoning".[3] In Islamic jurisprudence In Shī‘ī jurisprudence, ‘aql is the process of using intellect or logic to deduce law. Legal scholars in both Sunni and Shī‘ī Islamic traditions share Quranic interpretation, the Sunnah, and Ijma‘ "consensus" as sources of Islamic law and judicial decisions (ḥukm). However, Twelvers of the Ja‘farī school of law utilize ‘aql whereas Sunnis use qiyas "analogical reasoning" as the fourth source of law. Among Twelvers, Akhbārīs (associated with exotericism and traditionalism and theological schools in Qom) and Usulis (associated with esotericism and rationalism and theological schools in Baghdad) were contending subschools: the former reject ijtihād outright; the latter advocate ijtihad and have been predominant for the last 300 years.[3][10] In Shī‘ī Islam, "the gates of ijtihād" were never closed and with the use of ‘aql, Shī‘ī mujtahids "practitioner of ijtihād" and faqīhs "legal specialists" are able to respond as issues arise that were not explicitly dealt with in the Qur'an or Sunnah. I think this probably stems from her Dad spoiling her rotten and has set the bar pretty high for her to find a man that can do the same. Though, I'd imagine her Dad might be thinking he raised a gold digger coz these types of women treat their Parents like bank accounts just like she is doing to her husband. Before she even graduated, he should have threatened to leave her, but coz she is making more than him, one can assume she has zero respect for him now. The children should be a priority at this point, not her lifestyle.
Please, any western brothers getting married or already married- if there is no prenup in place she may be entitled to half your stuff , alimony, AND child support. I highly encourage all men to demand a prenup before legally marrying unless you do just a nikkah, but really the only safe bet is a prenup. If it’s too late for that, do a postnuptial as soon as possible. If she doesn’t want to sign it, that’s a huge red flag on fire. I am an American convert, I know plenty of women before I became Muslim AND since, both Muslim and non-Muslim, who easily take the kids, the house, the car, even the family dog. If you do not guard your assets and your rights, you could be destroyed in a divorce. Do not marry someone who refuses a prenup. If you are already married, do your best to get a postnuptial and if you can’t, please consult a lawyer for advice. Even if you marry abroad, you risk the same nonsense once she gets here. Don’t think that someone from a conservative place is going to adhere to Islamic norms of marriage rights, or even basic respect.
Prenups are not worth the paper they're written on and are thrown out by claiming they were signed "under duress" , marriage as an institution is a complete joke, the only precaution a man can take is to find a virgin(lower chance of divorce) which is rare even in "Muslim women". marriage is a complete scam

I'm a woman and wife. Can I blame it is man's fault? As husband, he is the leader to his family and his family lifestyle. If he knew he could not afford a lifestyle like that find a woman that into deen and has knowledge of islam. Sadly, most man and woman marry due to physical attraction and physical needs(beauty, rich, degree ). They forget the akhlaq. Please also don't divorce for this small matter. Find a way to teach your wife, seek advice. Make tahajud so Allah showed you the way.

Husband can add condition like - if you(wife) want to do a job or do a job you have to give me(husband) a percentage like 30, 40, 50% etc. and wife have to give the percentage of her earning or he can deny her doing the job. But if they agreed beforehand or before marriage that she will do job and won't give him a penny then he can't demand or have right on her money. Many things depends on pre-marriage conditions so think and decide before marriage.
Yes I love this idea. I am in school to be a nurse now and my husband had to work almost every day of his life since he was a teenager. He supports us and his ex wife and our family overseas by himself. It’s such a burden, I cannot imagine being so selfish once working. Disgusting behavior.
no. it is not the man's responsibility to provide for everything. only the basic necessities of her living such as basic food rice bread and veg (not meat), basic clothes 1 or 2 cheap clothes a year and her rent. on the other extreme the most he has to provide. is what is considered normal in his society such as basic middle class. he definitely does not have to provide for her gym membership, spa, girl's holidays, education etc. nothing more unless she specifically put it into her marriage contract. everything he is providing is excess extreme and not islamically his duty.
He has to provide according to the tradition and custom he is leaving in and regarding the food he has to provide also meat because this is what is expected to be normal the Hadith had determined that wife maintenance is decided according to maroouf which means the custom or tradition

unfortunately this is also happening in Islamic countries too, most of women these days just want the husband to do everything while she is relaxing watching drama and scrolling her phone, and if you tell her parents they will blame you and said you are the problem, instead they should talk to their daughter but they don't, the problem not just in the wife but her parents too, and i am talking here about a Muslim wife who practices Islam praying and so on, i don't say all but most of them these days

The term 'nations' to describe the descendants is a standard English translation of the Hebrew word "goyim", following the c. 400 CE Latin Vulgate's "nationes", and does not have the same political connotations that the word entails today.[3] The list of 70 names introduces for the first time several well-known ethnonyms and toponyms important to biblical geography,[4] such as Noah's three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, from which 18th-century German scholars at the Göttingen school of history derived the race terminology Semites, Hamites, and Japhetites. Certain of Noah's grandsons were also used for names of peoples: from Elam, Ashur, Aram, Cush, and Canaan were derived respectively the Elamites, Assyrians, Arameans, Cushites, and Canaanites. Likewise, from the sons of Canaan: Heth, Jebus, and Amorus were derived Hittites, Jebusites, and Amorites. Further descendants of Noah include Eber (from Shem), the hunter-king Nimrod (from Cush), and the Philistines (from Misrayim). As Christianity spread across the Roman Empire, it carried the idea that all people were descended from Noah. Not all Near Eastern people were covered in the biblical genealogy, as well as the Northern European peoples important to the Late Roman and Medieval world, such as the Celtic, Slavic, Germanic, and Nordic peoples; nor were others of the world's peoples, such as sub-Saharan Africans, Native Americans, and peoples of Central Asia, the Indian subcontinent, the Far East, and Australasia. Scholars derived a variety of arrangements to make the table fit, with for example the Scythians, which do feature in the tradition, being claimed as the ancestors of much of Northern Europe.[5] According to the biblical scholar Joseph Blenkinsopp, the 70 names in the list express symbolically the unity of humanity, corresponding to the 70 descendants of Israel who go down into Egypt with Jacob at Genesis 46:27 and the 70 elders of Israel who visit God with Moses at the covenant ceremony in Exodus 24:1-9.[6] Table of Nations On the family pedigrees contained in the biblical pericope of Noah, Saadia Gaon (882‒942) wrote: The Scriptures have traced the patronymic lineage of the seventy nations to the three sons of Noah, as also the lineage of Abraham and Ishmael, and of Jacob and Esau. The blessed Creator knew that men would find solace at knowing these family pedigrees, since our soul demands of us to know them, so that [all of] mankind will be held in fondness by us, as a tree that has been planted by God in the earth, whose branches have spread out and dispersed eastward and westward, northward and southward, in the habitable part of the earth. It also has the dual function of allowing us to see the multitude as a single individual, and the single individual as a multitude. Along with this, man ought to contemplate also on the names of the countries and of the cities [wherein they settled]."[7] Maimonides, echoing the same sentiments, wrote that the genealogy of the nations contained in the Law has the unique function of establishing a principle of faith, how that, although from Adam to Moses there was no more than a span of two-thousand five hundred years, and the human race was already spread over all parts of the earth in different families and with different languages, they were still people having a common ancestor and place of beginning.[8] Other Bible commentators observe that the Table of Nations is unique compared to other genealogies since it depicts a "broad network of cousins", with a "shallow chain of brotherly relationships". Meanwhile, the other genealogies focus on "narrow chains of father-son relationships".[9] Book of Genesis Noah dividing the world between his sons. Anonymous painter; Russian Empire, 18th century Chapters 1-11 of the Book of Genesis are structured around five toledot statements ("these are the generations of..."), of which the "generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth" is the fourth. Events before the Genesis flood narrative, the central toledot, correspond to those after: the post-Flood world is a new creation corresponding to the Genesis creation narrative, and Noah had three sons who populated the world. The correspondences extend forward as well: there are 70 names in the Table, corresponding to the 70 Israelites who go down into Egypt at the end of Genesis and to the 70 elders of Israel who go up the mountain at Sinai to meet with God in Exodus. The symbolic force of these numbers is underscored by the way the names are frequently arranged in groups of seven, suggesting that the Table is a symbolic means of implying universal moral obligation.[10] The number 70 also parallels Canaanite mythology, where 70 represents the number of gods in the divine clan who are each assigned a subject people, and where the supreme god El and his consort, Asherah, has the title "Mother/Father of 70 gods", which, due to the coming of monotheism, had to be changed, but its symbolism lived on in the new religion.[citation needed] The overall structure of the Table is: 1. Introductory formula, v.1 2. Japheth, vv.2-5 3. Ham, vv.6-20 4. Shem, vv.21-31 5. Concluding formula, v.32.[11] The overall principle governing the assignment of various peoples within the Table is difficult to discern: it purports to describe all humankind, but in reality restricts itself to the Egyptian lands of the south, the Mesopotamian lands, and Anatolia/Asia Minor and the Ionian Greeks, and in addition, the "sons of Noah" are not organized by geography, language family or ethnic groups within these regions.[12] The Table contains several difficulties: for example, the names Sheba and Havilah are listed twice, first as descendants of Cush the son of Ham (verse 7), and then as sons of Joktan, the great-grandsons of Shem, and while the Cushites are North African in verses 6-7 they are unrelated Mesopotamians in verses 10-14.[13] The date of composition of Genesis 1-11 cannot be fixed with any precision, although it seems likely that an early brief nucleus was later expanded with extra data.[14] Portions of the Table itself 'may' derive from the 10th century BCE, while others reflect the 7th century BCE and priestly revisions in the 5th century BCE.[2] Its combination of world review, myth and genealogy corresponds to the work of the Greek historian Hecataeus of Miletus, active c. 520 BCE.[15] Book of Chronicles I Chronicles 1 includes a version of the Table of Nations from Genesis, but edited to make clearer that the intention is to establish the background for Israel. This is done by condensing various branches to focus on the story of Abraham and his offspring. Most notably, it omits Genesis 10:9-14, in which Nimrod, a son of Cush, is linked to various cities in Mesopotamia, thus removing from Cush any Mesopotamian connection. In addition, Nimrod does not appear in any of the numerous Mesopotamian King Lists.[16] Book of Jubilees Ionian world map [icon] This section needs expansion. You can help by adding to it. (February 2015) The Table of Nations is expanded upon in detail in chapters 8-9 of the Book of Jubilees, sometimes known as the "Lesser Genesis," a work from the early Second Temple period.[17] Jubilees is considered pseudepigraphical by most Christian and Jewish denominations but thought to have been held in regard by many of the Church Fathers.[18] Its division of the descendants throughout the world are thought to have been heavily influenced by the "Ionian world map" described in the Histories of Herodotus,[19] and the anomalous treatment of Canaan and Madai are thought to have been "propaganda for the territorial expansion of the Hasmonean state".[20] Septuagint version The Hebrew bible was translated into Greek in Alexandria at the request of Ptolemy II, who reigned over Egypt 285-246 BCE.[21] Its version of the Table of Nations is substantially the same as that in the Hebrew text, but with the following differences:

The problem with feminist or graduated woman is that they feel they deserve the same respect as man in societies as well as be the man in the house.
Background
Until their deaths, the tenth and eleventh Shia Imams (Ali al-Hadi and Hasan al-Askari, respectively) were held under close surveillance in the garrison town of Samarra by the Abbasids,[1][2] who are often responsible in Shia sources for poisoning the two Imams.[3]
Contemporary to the tenth Imam, the Abbasid al-Mutawakkil heavily persecuted the Shia,[4][5] partly due to a renewed Zaydi opposition.[6] The restrictive policies of al-Mutawakkil towards the tenth Imam were later adopted by his son, al-Mu'tamid, who is reported to have kept the eleventh Imam under house arrest without any visitors.[7] Instead, al-Askari is known to have mainly communicated with his followers through a network of representatives.[5][8] Among them was Uthman ibn Sa'id,[9] who is said to have disguised himself as a seller of cooking fat to avoid the Abbasid agents, hence his nickname al-Samman.[10] Tabatabai suggests that these restrictions were placed on al-Askari because the caliphate had come to know about traditions among the Shia elite, predicting that the eleventh Imam would father the eschatological Mahdi.[11]
Death of al-Askari
Al-Askari died in 260 (873-874) without an obvious heir.[12][13] Immediately after the death of the eleventh Imam,[14] his main representative, Uthman ibn Sa'id,[15] claimed that the Imam had an infant son, named Muhammad,[16][14] who was kept hidden from the public out of fear of Abbasid persecution,[17] as they sought to eliminate an expected child of al-Askari, whom persistent rumors described as a savior.[18] Uthman also claimed that he had been appointed to represent Muhammad,[19] who is more commonly known as Muhammad al-Mahdi (lit. 'the rightly guided').[20]
Being the closest associate of al-Askari,[21] Uthman's assertions were largely accepted by other representatives of al-Askari.[16][22] Those who accepted the imamate of this Muhammad later formed the Twelvers.[23] The other sects created over the succession of al-Askari disappeared within a hundred years.[23][13]
Minor Occultation (260-329 AH, 874-941 CE)
Thus began a period of about seventy years, later termed the Minor Occultation (al-ghaybat al-sughra), during which it is believed that four successive agents represented Muhammad al-Mahdi, the Hidden Imam.[18] The fourth agent, Abu al-Hasan al-Samarri, is said to have received a letter from Muhammad al-Mahdi shortly before his death in 941 CE.[24][25] The letter predicted the death of al-Samarri in six days and announced the beginning of the "complete occultation,"[26][27][25] later called the Major Occultation, which continues to this day.[28] The letter, ascribed to Muhammad al-Mahdi, added that the complete occultation would continue until God permitted him to manifest himself again in a time when the earth would be filled with tyranny.[26]
Upon the death of al-Samarri
The Major Occultation, a term coined later, began in 329 (940-941) with the death of the fourth agent, al-Samarri, who did not designate a successor. In this period, which continues today, there is no agent of the Hidden Imam.[26][29] There is some evidence that the death of the fourth agent also dissolved the underground network of representatives responsible primarily for the collection and distribution of the religious donations.[30][18] The office of deputyship was thus formally closed.[31] Despite some uncertainty,[32] there were likely early traditions among the Shia that had already predicted the two periods of occultation.[33] These hadiths were previously cited, for instance, by the Waqifites in reference to the two arrests of Musa al-Kazim, the seventh Imam.[34][33] Nevertheless, the prolonged absence of the Hidden Imam seems to have created widespread doubts among his followers.[35][36][18]
Leadership vacuum
As both the spiritual and political head of the Twelver community, the occultation of the Hidden Imam left a significant gap.[37] This leadership vacuum was eventually filled by Twelver jurists (fuqaha), who remain the sole leaders of the Twelver community during the Major Occultation.[38][39] Often cited to support this transition is a letter received by Ishaq ibn Ya'qub in response to his religious inquiries of the second agent,[40] Abu Ja'far Muhammad ibn Uthman (d. 916-17).[24] The letter, said to have been written by al-Mahdi, stipulated that
As for the events which may occur [in future when you may need guidance in religious matters] refer to the transmitters (ruwat) of our sayings (hadith) who are my hujja (lit. 'proof') to you and I am the hujja of God to you all [or "to them" in another version].[41][42]
- ascribed to al-Mahdi
A few similar hadiths are attributed to the tenth and eleventh Imams.[43][44] The traditions also specify that these jurists must be just and knowledgeable in Islamic law.[45] As the absence of the Hidden Imam continued, however, the Twelver jurists evolved from mere transmitters (ruwat) of hadith to mujtahidun in order to resolve new religious questions that arose over time.[46][47] Their authority also increased with time to address the need to explicate religious teachings for the community.[48] For instance, as early as the seventh (thirteenth) century, Muhaqqiq al-Hilli (d. 1277) spent the Imam's share of Khums (a type of Islamic alms) on activities that furthered the cause of Shia,[49] as opposed to his predecessors, such as al-Mufid (d. 1022), who often asked the faithful to save these donations for the rise of al-Mahdi.[50]
Considering that jurists were not directly appointed by the Hidden Imam, it was debated whether their authority should extend to functions with political implications, such as declaring holy war (jihad).[51] It was likely Shahid al-Thani (d. For instance, during the Russo-Iranian war of 1804-13, the eminent clerics of Najaf and Isfahan issued a declaration of jihad against the Russians to support the Qajarite Abbas Mirza, who was conducting the campaign.[56] Later on, however, jurists often had to compete with the Shia monarchs for religious authority.[51]
In sum, the politically quiescent approach of the Twelver jurists over time gave way to eventually questioning the legitimacy of Shia monarchs and even attempts to restrict their power through a constitution.[57] This evolution culminated with the concept of wilayat al-faqih (lit.

In jurisprudence, it is associated with using reason as a source for sharia and has been translated as 'dialectical reasoning'.[2][3][4][5]
Etymology
The term "al-'aql" in Arabic is derived from the root word "ql," which means to bind. In Islamic thought, it is used to describe the faculty that connects individuals to God.[6] It is usually translated in English as intellect, intelligence, reason or rational faculty.[7]
In the Quran
The Quran doesn't use the word "aql" explicitly, but its verbal forms such as yaʿqelūn appear 49 times. (22:46).[7]
In the perspective of Islam it is precisely ‘aql which keeps man on the straight path (the sirat al-mustaqim) and prevents him from going astray. That is why so many verses of the Quran equate those who go astray with those who cannot use their intellect (as in the verses wa la ya‘qilun, ‘they do not understand’ or literally ‘use their intellect’-the verb ya‘qilun deriving from the root ‘aqala which is related to ‘aql; or the verse la yafqahun, ‘they understand not’, the verb yafqahun being related to the root faqiha which again means comprehension or knowledge.)[9]
- Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Sufi Essays, 1972
Moreover, the term ūlu’l-albāb (possessors of intellect) is mentioned 16 times in the Quran, and commentators often associate their "lobb" with intellect. The Quran (39:9) poses a rhetorical question, asking whether those who possess knowledge and those who do not are equal. The answer, according to the Quran, is that only the ūlu’l-albāb (the possessors of intellects) are the ones who remember and understand the significance of God's signs.[8]
In Sunni and Shia sources
While Sunni Hadiths acknowledge the value of intellect, Shia Hadith collections contain a larger number of traditions that praise it. In that vein, Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādeq defines intellect as the means by which one worships the All-Merciful and attains Paradise.[8]
The term ‘aql was heavily elucidated by early Shī‘ah thinkers; it came to replace and expand the pre-Islamic concept of ḥilm (Arabic: حلم) "serene justice and self-control, dignity" in opposition to the negative notions of ignorance (jahl) and stupidity (safah).[3]
The "possessor of ‘aql", or al-‘āqīl (plural al-‘uqqāl) realises a deep connection with God.
799), expanded this exegesis by defining ‘aql as the "faculty for apprehending the divine, a faculty of metaphysical perception, a light in the heart, through which one can discern and recognize signs from God."[3] He further noted that where the A'immah (Imāms) are the ḥujjatu ż-żāhira "External proof [of God]", ‘aql is the ḥujjatu l-Bāṭina "Secret proof".[3]
While in early Islam, ‘aql was opposed to jahl "ignorance", the expansion of the concept meant it was now opposed to safah "[deliberate] stupidity" and junūn "lack of sense, indulgence". Under the influence of Mu‘tazilī thought, ‘aql came to mean "dialectical reasoning".[3]
In Islamic jurisprudence
In Shī‘ī jurisprudence, ‘aql is the process of using intellect or logic to deduce law.
Among Twelvers, Akhbārīs (associated with exotericism and traditionalism and theological schools in Qom) and Usulis (associated with esotericism and rationalism and theological schools in Baghdad) were contending subschools: the former reject ijtihād outright; the latter advocate ijtihad and have been predominant for the last 300 years.[3][10]
In Shī‘ī Islam, "the gates of ijtihād" were never closed and with the use of ‘aql, Shī‘ī mujtahids "practitioner of ijtihād" and faqīhs "legal specialists" are able to respond as issues arise that were not explicitly dealt with in the Qur'an or Sunnah.

This transman identifies as "straight". But says that seeing hetro wedding the transman witnesses "women being marched to their death". A lesbian would never say that witnessing lesbians being married is women being marched to death nor would any cis het man say this about women getting married to men. Which means this person's talking about cishet men. Then goes on to say these things are better said by cishet women.
And degrading cis het men in marriages. So who's enforcing what now? Keeping screaming heteronormativity. Oh look everything you do is a fetish of cis men. And devaluing men.
So let's get this straight!
Cis het men shouldn't marry cis het women. Despite cishet women only having attraction towards cishet men.
It is logically impossible for a cis man to ever have the authority to lecture a transman on anything to do with gender... Transmen act as cis men in movies. Who says transmasculine link should be cannon on twitter? Link is born male so it's impossible for him to be trans. Who fetishes my anatomy and degrades my anatomy? You do. Who degrades AMAB people as a whole? Who has the origins of being a lesbian radical feminist? You do.
Who forces themselves upon cishet women? While substituting cishet men and stereotyping men. And what have women... Cishet women being saying? "Please be a man".
That is blantant erasue of men and forcing themselves onto women who are not attracted to them. Simple as that.
Straight - AFAB - AMAB Assigned Female at Birth - Assigned Male at Birth
Gay - AMAB - AMAB Assigned Male at Birth - Assigned Male at Birth
Lesbian - AFAB - AFAB Assigned Female at Birth - Assigned Female at Birth
Bisexual - Equality amongst AMAB/AFAB Assigned Male at Birth/Assigned Female at Birth
Queer - "attraction to people of many genders" AMAB/AFAB - AMAB/AFAB
If a transman's attraction was originally cis men then going forward this person would only be with cis men right? Nope these people go with both.
If a transman's attraction was originally cis women then going forward this person would be with cis women right? Yes that is correct for the 100%
Husbands wife turns trans what does she say to him? "But you are aren't into men" (husband wanted to be with her regardless)

Many things depends on pre-marriage conditions so think and decide before marriage.

no. it is not the man's responsibility to provide for everything. only the basic necessities of her living such as basic food rice bread and veg (not meat), basic clothes 1 or 2 cheap clothes a year and her rent.
on the other extreme the most he has to provide. is what is considered normal in his society such as basic middle class.
he definitely does not have to provide for her gym membership, spa, girl's holidays, education etc.
nothing more unless she specifically put it into her marriage contract.
everything he is providing is excess extreme and not islamically his duty.
No need for spa holidays and gym man will be enough to arrange for this himself she doesn't need to go outside separately for that.
He has to provide according to the tradition and custom he is leaving in and regarding the food he has to provide also meat because this is what is expected to be normal the Hadith had determined that wife maintenance is decided according to maroouf which means the custom or tradition

The Generations of Noah, also called the Table of Nations or Origines Gentium,[1] is a genealogy of the sons of Noah, according to the Hebrew Bible (Genesis 10:9), and their dispersion into many lands after the Flood,[2] focusing on the major known societies. The term 'nations' to describe the descendants is a standard English translation of the Hebrew word "goyim", following the c. 400 CE Latin Vulgate's "nationes", and does not have the same political connotations that the word entails today.[3]
The list of 70 names introduces for the first time several well-known ethnonyms and toponyms important to biblical geography,[4] such as Noah's three sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth, from which 18th-century German scholars at the Göttingen school of history derived the race terminology Semites, Hamites, and Japhetites.
Scholars derived a variety of arrangements to make the table fit, with for example the Scythians, which do feature in the tradition, being claimed as the ancestors of much of Northern Europe.[5]
According to the biblical scholar Joseph Blenkinsopp, the 70 names in the list express symbolically the unity of humanity, corresponding to the 70 descendants of Israel who go down into Egypt with Jacob at Genesis 46:27 and the 70 elders of Israel who visit God with Moses at the covenant ceremony in Exodus 24:1-9.[6]
Table of Nations
On the family pedigrees contained in the biblical pericope of Noah, Saadia Gaon (882‒942) wrote:
The Scriptures have traced the patronymic lineage of the seventy nations to the three sons of Noah, as also the lineage of Abraham and Ishmael, and of Jacob and Esau. Along with this, man ought to contemplate also on the names of the countries and of the cities [wherein they settled]."[7]
Maimonides, echoing the same sentiments, wrote that the genealogy of the nations contained in the Law has the unique function of establishing a principle of faith, how that, although from Adam to Moses there was no more than a span of two-thousand five hundred years, and the human race was already spread over all parts of the earth in different families and with different languages, they were still people having a common ancestor and place of beginning.[8]
Other Bible commentators observe that the Table of Nations is unique compared to other genealogies since it depicts a "broad network of cousins", with a "shallow chain of brotherly relationships". Meanwhile, the other genealogies focus on "narrow chains of father-son relationships".[9]
Book of Genesis
Noah dividing the world between his sons. Anonymous painter; Russian Empire, 18th century
Chapters 1-11 of the Book of Genesis are structured around five toledot statements ("these are the generations of..."), of which the "generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth" is the fourth. The symbolic force of these numbers is underscored by the way the names are frequently arranged in groups of seven, suggesting that the Table is a symbolic means of implying universal moral obligation.[10] The number 70 also parallels Canaanite mythology, where 70 represents the number of gods in the divine clan who are each assigned a subject people, and where the supreme god El and his consort, Asherah, has the title "Mother/Father of 70 gods", which, due to the coming of monotheism, had to be changed, but its symbolism lived on in the new religion.[citation needed]
The overall structure of the Table is:
1. Introductory formula, v.1
2. Japheth, vv.2-5
3. Ham, vv.6-20
4. Shem, vv.21-31
5. Concluding formula, v.32.[11]
The overall principle governing the assignment of various peoples within the Table is difficult to discern: it purports to describe all humankind, but in reality restricts itself to the Egyptian lands of the south, the Mesopotamian lands, and Anatolia/Asia Minor and the Ionian Greeks, and in addition, the "sons of Noah" are not organized by geography, language family or ethnic groups within these regions.[12] The Table contains several difficulties: for example, the names Sheba and Havilah are listed twice, first as descendants of Cush the son of Ham (verse 7), and then as sons of Joktan, the great-grandsons of Shem, and while the Cushites are North African in verses 6-7 they are unrelated Mesopotamians in verses 10-14.[13]
The date of composition of Genesis 1-11 cannot be fixed with any precision, although it seems likely that an early brief nucleus was later expanded with extra data.[14] Portions of the Table itself 'may' derive from the 10th century BCE, while others reflect the 7th century BCE and priestly revisions in the 5th century BCE.[2] Its combination of world review, myth and genealogy corresponds to the work of the Greek historian Hecataeus of Miletus, active c. 520 BCE.[15]
Book of Chronicles
I Chronicles 1 includes a version of the Table of Nations from Genesis, but edited to make clearer that the intention is to establish the background for Israel. This is done by condensing various branches to focus on the story of Abraham and his offspring. Most notably, it omits Genesis 10:9-14, in which Nimrod, a son of Cush, is linked to various cities in Mesopotamia, thus removing from Cush any Mesopotamian connection. In addition, Nimrod does not appear in any of the numerous Mesopotamian King Lists.[16]

The Table of Nations is expanded upon in detail in chapters 8-9 of the Book of Jubilees, sometimes known as the "Lesser Genesis," a work from the early Second Temple period.[17] Jubilees is considered pseudepigraphical by most Christian and Jewish denominations but thought to have been held in regard by many of the Church Fathers.[18] Its division of the descendants throughout the world are thought to have been heavily influenced by the "Ionian world map" described in the Histories of Herodotus,[19] and the anomalous treatment of Canaan and Madai are thought to have been "propaganda for the territorial expansion of the Hasmonean state".[20]
Septuagint version
The Hebrew bible was translated into Greek in Alexandria at the request of Ptolemy II, who reigned over Egypt 285-246 BCE.[21] Its version of the Table of Nations is substantially the same as that in the Hebrew text, but with the following differences:
