As a nail tech whos all over instagram and tiktok, i started doing acrylic nails at 13 . And practice all day and night it took a while to get better but the more i practice the faster i started doing a better job, 3 years later at 16 i have my own nail business and i do everyones nails for only $60 depending on how much details u want or stones it will be $100 , so to all my starter nail tech girls , u got this and never give up you will get better at doing nails in no time ❤. Practice makes perfect.
how long does it take to do basic to complicated designs? $60 a client seems nice but not if it takes hours, i wanna pursue this as a career and wanted to know around how long it takes each client
@@queen.nakaia basics are only 30 Minutes but designs and stones and what all , takes around an hour , an I went up a price like $130 per client , I realized 60 wasn't enough and for me to be doing everyone's nails bomb , I deserve more
I gonna start soon I am so excited but at the same time scared . I will finally be able to do my nails without asking my parents for money . I am so excited . To all the people starting nails … good luck and for those who already know … be proud of yourself guys and be proud of how far you’ve done 💖💖💖💖💖
please make a whole video based on how to not hurt your clients during shaping, prep, hand files, e files, how to hold the clients finger, etc. 🥲 i’m struggling with this SO much!!!
Just be very light handed! That is the key! Being heavy handed can cause ring of fire for your clients and YOU DO NOT WANT THAT!! You only hurt your client if you being heavy handed or if you don’t know where the cuticle is. And ur being to harsh.
Here’s some tips: Season the Files(seasoning is taking another file and filing the edges down to help avoid cutting the skin) also File in one direction (not back and forth), File slowly or it can remove too much(with E-file start @ lower speed 4-6),hold file flat, use a 240 grit..hope this helps 😊
Hi Melanie, girl u inspired me to be something I was never gonna be I never thought I had any nail dreams in my life but girl u made it happen I love u and u helped and inspired me a lot thanks for encouraging me to do this ❤
Thanks so much for the tip regarding the bead sheets! I’ve watching hundreds of nail videos and NEVER once heard of such! I’m definitely picking some up ASAP because I want to learn acrylic application. Yours is beautiful! I also love how you file/shape your nails. New Subbie ❣
Yesss thank you this was so relaxing please show us the flowers definitely let's get into it and these are gorgeous for sure by the way love you too girly 🎉❤ proud of u too definitely inspiring us go getters 🙏🏼
This was so useful thank you so much I’m a 11 year old nail artist and I do my family’s nails and I use all the money I get from them and put it more in nails and I hope to get I job at 14 and have a business at 16 I’m so excited for my future
To be licensed you have to be 16 years old or older but you can still always practice on family and friends as well as anyone who allows you to practice on them✨
This was super helpful. I just recently came across your channel and I’m a beginner and I’m trying to get better at doing acrylic nails and this video is super helpful! I can’t wait to see what you post next.!,,
love your videos im starting to post my content im a 14 year old beginner nail tech and i keep watching this video so when i forget a step i watch this video to help me remember
Thank you girl for this video and how you explained every single step you make it look so easy . How long did it take you to learn how to do the application?
You are sooo inspiring to me. You are very talented and your work is amazingggg! Can you please do a tutorial on how to do flowers I think they are very cuteee.💞💞💞
Thank you. 😊 I’ve decided to become a nail tech recently bc I have fallen in love with it and have always loved all art forms. But what sealed the deal was my own nail tech being sloppy and rough with me hands. 😂
Hiii thank you soooooooo much! I have never touched an acrylic powder or have any experience with nails but after watching ur vids it helped me to find all the products I need. I have one question tho... I don't have anyone do to it on for practice... i'm the only sister in my fam and i know my parents wont let me use UV light every 5 seconds on myself.. 😅 I want to learn the nail prep as well and i cant really do that with a fake nail training hand from amazon for sum... so i was going to ask u how did you start and how can I learn it without putting acrylic on my hand?
Tysm! That was the most in depth beginner acrylic video I have ever seen. ❤❤❤ you have some amazing skill and those nails are on point girl! I’m going to order some Kierra sky acrylic stuff next time I get paid. I am just getting monomer, cover pink white and clear. I do polygel and gel x and have done my own nails for years. Just afraid of acrylic. But I’m going to give it a try. Is there any other brand you can think of that’s a little cheaper or better for beginners? Again, thanks a lot and keep showing us your work and mail art w acrylic! Its fantastic ❤
I use Secret Nail Affair , I think the smaller size jars are like $10 n they have a lot of colors.. they’re good to play w colors n try different designs :)
Thank you so much for this I keep taking breaks I really wanna master it good enough to not get lifting I have a problem with flooding the cuticle area and wiping alot of the acrylic off so I’m using more than I need 😩😩 can you recommend a less strong brand using Mia secret.
Could you please do an in depth process of at least 3 or 4 different ways to do a frenchie when doing them on yourself? I've been doing my own nails since 2020 and just recently started trying frenchies and I can't seem to get the hang of it, at all. I know the concept, but actually doing them on myself is real difficult. And I would like to do more Frenchies on myself because I have many cute designs I'd like to use on Frenchies. Any tips and tricks would be helpful. Thanks in advance! 😊
