So when you watch a group dance, there is always one dancer who you watch and you SEE the choreography. Like, there is that dancer who executes everything so cleanly, with such precision, with all the right emphasis, that you see the moves that you couldn't see when watching the whole group, or when watching one of the weaker dancers. This dance isn't as much about specific steps or moves, but it's all about the ACCENT. The accented moves emphasizes certain aspects of the music, and Jimin's high energy, super precise approach really just shows the accent, the emphasis, and he makes the choreo really sync with the music. He definitely took the highest energy level approach to this choreo, while Jungkook took a very smooth, somewhat lazy approach, which is an interesting artistic choice on Jungkook's part. (I talk about J-hope below) I think he's trying to play up his adult, sexy side and I think he succeeded in doing that. But for me personally, this song and this dance calls for a super hard hitting, high energy approach, and watching Jimin's follow video last after watching everyone else's was like having that itch you can't reach finally scratched. As a group dance, I liked the energy, but dancing in a group will always have more energy than dancing as an individual, so while I enjoyed the other members' follow videos, I was a bit unsatisfied with the energy levels on an individual level. But Jimin - he just explodes with energy but is still so precise at the same time. That takes a lot of technique and absolute comfort with the choreography - it's only possible if you practice and practice and practice. So J-hope - J-hope is an interesting case - he is undoubtedly a super talented dancer. But there's something about him when he dances the BTS choreography - I just can't shake this sense that he is not 100% comfortable. When he does his own thing, he is jaw-droppingly amazing (I am thinking of the stuff he did in American Hustle Life and his solo practice videos). But I think the BTS choreo is not in the style that he is comfortable with, and I think I remember the BTS choreographer saying J-hope had to work out a lot of habits from his street dancing days to fit in with the BTS style, and that makes a lot of sense to me. So when J-hope is with BTS, he's great, but he doesn't stick out as being on a totally different level from the rest of the group, but I think that's a good thing. Like, it's a group dance, not one amazing dancer and his back up dancers, and with groups like EXO and Shinee (don't get me wrong, I love both of them - Shinee is probably the band I would have to pick as my favorite if I had to pick one), Kai and Taemin just stick out because they embellish their dances and just do different stuff than everyone else. That's cool and all - they are amazing dancers and should show off their skills - but it does disrupt the harmony of the group dance. So be it because J-hope is purposefully reining himself in to make sure there isn't too stark a difference between him and the others (esp Jin and RM) or he just doesn't feel 100% comfortable doing the BTS choreo, the result is a very harmonious group dance that I really appreciate. Infinite takes the cake in terms of eerily in sync group choreo, but BTS is pretty darn close too, and it's hard to compare the two groups since their choreography style is so different. Infinite's dances are made to look in sync, whereas BTS's is a bit choppier to begin with as a dance style, so they aren't ever going to look like infinite. Phew. Anyway, Jimin just keeps on impressing me with each new routine BTS puts out, and he didn't disappoint. I actually really didn't like the song but since I love the dance routine, I keep on listening to it, and it's starting to grow on me. Goes to show how KPOP is as much a visual medium as it is an audio one.
+Satopi3104 nice POV (y) there's def something which attract people's eyes to jimin easily on BTS performances, and I believe his 'so much in control' and great musicality are the biggest parts of it, he's a practice maniac too so he delivers the most.. J-Hope is no doubt amazing dancer, hope he gets to shine even more in future BTS songs
+MyMint Yup, agree with everything you said. I didn't mention it, but in addition to the factors you mentioned, he also has that undefinable something that we usually call stage presence. You either have it or you don't, and it doesn't have to do with technique. Jungkook has some as well, but not as much as Jimin, and J-hope doesn't have much of it, unfortunately. V and Suga have a lot of it too, and Jin, RM are average, I would say. So my ranking would be: Jimin V Suga Jungkook (this one's a tough call, since Jungkook is larger, better looking, and a better dancer, so your eye does get drawn to him because of those factors. So I think in terms of pure stage presence, Suga has it more) RM Jin J-hope I do hope J-hope can choreograph something for BTS in his style - that would be really interesting to see, and would be a chance to show off his skills, since I don't think the general public know just how amazing a dancer he actually is.

Jimin has his shining moments in almost all BTS choreo, Fire Dope, even their debut No More Dream, jimin already appealed in dancing/center (the least maybe Just One Day). I think it's because Jhope is the rapper thus apart from his part and some bridge, he's barely center. I lowkey wish they'd share some jungkook's center position in FIRE with jhope. And yes amen to that, I want BTS choreo Jhope style, that'd really cool (might as well torture NamJin x'D).. I just want every single BTS member gets appreciated for how awesome they are, by fans and public :'3
Define PERFECT MAN --> PARK JIMIN❤! His moves are just so FLUID, so SMOOTH... such an AMAZING DANCER and SINGER! I so appreciate every effort he put into his craft - JIMIN definitely takes his skills seriously. The PASSION is showing naturally, making his moves look so EFFORTLESS and UNRESTRAINED. This is the most helpful thing they've ever done. Also, Jimin is the perfect combination of handsome, cute and sexy and it really comes across when he dances. It's mesmerizing. I can't take my eyes off it and I always look for him in the choreo.

Adelina Sardothien This is just my opinion. I feel Jimin's musicalty in general is amazing. Musciality in dancing to me is the way the dancer expresses music in his body. Dancing to the rhythm, melody and mood of the song. Musicality of a choreographer and a dancer is different. Choreographer creates the moves while dance executes it. Dancer who is non-musical to me is someone who rush, got caught up in steps or just messy. I just feel that Jimin always expresses the music or emphasis it through his moves. I can feel his moves and rhythm well and really enjoy looking at it. That is how I interpret musicality in dancing.

IMO, after observing all the dance videos, I feel that Jimin brings out the song best. His moves are precise and smooth and you can tell that his body is really following the rhythm of the music. He adds flair and power to the choreography and does not just follow it to a 'T', which makes the whole dance so 'alive'. He brings joy when you watch him because he has natural charisma and good muscle control + awesome body coordination. His background in comtemporary music really shows. Like what he mentioned before, he is really taking his dance teacher words to heart and that is listen to the music. P.S I especially like the parts from 0:19 , the chorus, 1:21 and 1:35 Everyone does it differently and I liked his style there best
