Witching Hour seems like the worst way to do the Gonk combo. Dreampetal the Gonk into Gonk + Faceless or Gonk + Floop seems better. It's usually cheaper on the combo turn (unless you hit the Faceless with Dreampetal) and you don't need the Gonk to die. Plus Floop and Faceless aren't completely dead cards outside of the combo like Witching Hour is.
You can use untapped potential and save the claws and pounces to complete the sidequest after you change hero powers, and you can even complete the sidequest mid gonk, you should only need the claw damage to hit face
For the RUclips vids could you edit in the deck changes similar to the way you did on Omni? It's hard to keep track of what's happening to the deck otherwise
Am I missing something? Why not run faceless, florist, and honk as your combo. Also that 4 mana taunt guy that summons one drops instead of the 6 mana guy. Seems like you can tone the combo way down.
So you have to assume florist hits your worst combo minion so if florist hits the 4 mana taunt guy your talking about then you 7 (gonk) + 5 (faceless) which is 12 mana, not mentioning the attack buff's you'll have to play. There probably is a better way to do the combo though, I haven't looked into it that much though so maybe not. I think it's biggest issue is that it can't survive until it makes it to the combo, so you either need a way to increase survivability and or a better draw engine. I think the best way to increase survivability would probably just be to make it an untapped potential deck and somehow complete the side quest at combo time or something like that.
@@JayTheYggdrasil Actually, OG's idea is better. Against aggressive strategies, you don't need Zul'Drak ritualist at all since they swarm a board all the time anyway. It is still much better defensive minion than 6 mana guy. Against any slower deck, you just need to Floop your Dreampetal florist to guarantee one tick on either Gonk or Faceless. If you add floop's glorious gloop to the mix, that's all the mana you need. Each attacked minion will usually result in 10 face damage (2x pounce + 3x claw), so in the end 3 minions is all you need. I managed to pull of the combo this way much more consistently. The biggest problem of the deck is not the combo part or the inconsistency of it. But rather as you said, it's the survivability. Regis tried quest version and it worked much better than this. At the end of the day it is still only a meme deck, but can definitely work from time to time.
Nick Štorgel still upset that they removed naturalize. Make 2 mana or something even, but it saw very little play and it’s the answer druid has to absurdly big dudes. I get you want to celebrate class identity, but they left druid with no answers and gut punched his identity. Now it’s just armor more than warrior and trees

Today I played against 2 rogue players in a row where both played Spirit of the shark and on next turn followed with 22/22 and 30/30 Edwin. As druid, there is no chance of comeback after this.
Hey Firebat, now that you mentioned your new art for deck doctor, I wanted to point out that the rod that you have there(caduceus) has nothing to do with medicine and is frequently incorrectly used as such. What you should have is an Aesculapius rod, which is a single snake and no wings which comes from the Greek god of medicine... Hahaha you probably won't care but I had to mention it... Great content!
Quest package + faceless + 8 mana 6/6 that draw 2 minions and it become 1/1 (forgot the name) might work with Gonk and maybe put some leeroy for 2 1/1 on opponent's board + extra damage.. Im gonna try build this deck tho.. hahaaa looks fun messing around
Is it ever worth a Predatory Instincts in there for those times Gonk is stuck at the bottom of the deck? Or did Firebat already consider that while I wasn't paying attention and explain why it's a terrible idea?
18 health is a bit of an issue when you need Gonk to die at some point, although you could argue that having a 4/18 with upside in play that can't be removed is a pretty good problem to have a lot of the time. Melon is probably a better route for tutoring though, or maybe even Jepetto.

I totally forgot Psychmelon was still in standard though! That definitely seems like the better option, even if it's still as suspect as the rest of the deck.
They basically committed slow suicide by dropping all efforts at content creation to focus on their shitty deck tracker nobody will ever hear about without the content creators shilling it.
I think it would be better to abandon Witching Hour and use Gloop or Florist as a combo enabler. That way you can use Loti, Bees and other good Beast stuff.
You always play biology progect with auctioneer. Also this combo is suck you better play it with faceless manipulators. Ive tried tons of variations and I think quest druid but with win condition of Gonk druid is kinda the best one. Coz fuck this auctioneer always at the bottom and start draw on turn 7 is kinda too late for the current meta. That's my thoughts but I really love this combo deck.
Next time we pick a randomly submitted deck doctor patient, we should check if it’s actually possible to win with it. Waiting an hour for a combo to never go off isn’t fun.
