I'm new to the Iron will head im tossed up between the s series 175 or the wide 175-200 my set up is a a 82# hoyt arrows also have 50 grain brass inserts I use the bow for elk moose mainly.with the odd random mule deer
The S series work great for both elk and moose. Can reach out to us on instagram or call our customer support to go over weights. You do not want your arrow spine to be weak when having that much point weight with 82#.
Deep Six is a specialized, smaller diameter of HIT Insert (or broadhead thread to fit deep six HIT Inserts) designed to fit inside micro diameter arrows (.166"). If you're using Standard .204 diameter arrows, or if you're using an outsert to convert micro diameter arrows to fit Standard diameter broadheads, the standard option will work best for you. If you are using micro diameter arrows, we strongly recommend using deep six HIT Inserts in conjunction with Impact Collars and deep six sized broadheads to make the arrow connection point as strong as our broadheads on heavy bone impact. If using outserts to make standard sized broadheads work in micro diameter shafts, we've found the outserts work as a lever-arm off the end of your arrow that fails on heavy bone impact. As a result, we strongly recommend using Deep Six HIT Inserts with Impact Collars for micro diameter (.166") arrows, and Standard HIT Inserts with Impact Collars for Standard (.204") diameter arrows.
Oh ok well rn I have brass? goldtip conversion collars bringing my .166 arrows to .204 tip. 30 5/8 length gold tip arrows 300spine 75lb Matthew’s Set up w 100 gr tips 448 grain overall arrow weight I got the ranch fairy tip test kit in today haven’t shot them all but I think i will stickwith 100 grain rn before the season not sure if I should go heavier I feel like I need 200 spine to start adding much weight on the front
I wish there was a 100 grain option with no bleeders. I just feel like if I’m looking for a broad head for the maximum penetration like the iron will. Then I wouldn’t want any bleeders on my broad head only for the simple fact of it would cause less penetration.

Are you using a compound bow or a trad bow?
@@IronWillOutfitters compound. And I understand that it might not be much. But as a consumer that’s the kinda things that go through our mind.
