Great price action lesson but a few questions! Because price action is just one part of an edge what other criteria do you look for this price action in? Like is that generally for low floats, or large caps? Is a catalyst required? VWAP location? How far of an extension to the downside is too far before demand kicks in and at which point might just turn into consolidation for another leg down for a potential gap fill? Thanks for the great videos as always!

An area of consolidation shows that both sides are in balance.
The price doesn't go lower, but it also doesn't go higher.
It might as well be the demand that disappears, and the price collapses.
Do you buy at the support leverl or at the vwap when the stock turns or on the HL above the vwap?
typically its a buy of the candle break of that range that is formed.. where Jeff drew Supply and Demand lines. Stop below the low.

Jeff didn't draw the previous days candles but it would be a gap up on the open above the previous days close. Ex: the stock closed at 100 yesterday and is now gapping up to 110 on the open today.
He drew the gap. You can study these by looking up “fair value gaps” which is essentially what this is on the daily open (usually a killer trade!). You are seeing a selling inequality that SHOULD be matched with buying to balance that inequality. These are not in consolidation/basing points so keep that in mind, these are generaly large candles that are a large sell/buy into a gap up/down.
These do not apply so much to smaller cap stuff, also a reason why buying the dip works on the high volume etfs and main stuff

Did the gap fill or is that not the point of this particular type of trade?
it did not fill. example. Stock closes at 100 Monday. Opens up at 110 Tuesday with a catalyst, pulls in to 107, puts the low in and then eventually takes out the AM high within 10 min and trends the rest of the day

Is that the same as a red to green move at the open?
It wouldn’t be a red to green. The gap never fills to breakeven. So if it opens red it will attempt to go green but fail and go even further red

could work both ways... gaps down significantly, buyers try to take it higher but supply is too strong and then the stock moves lower
