Game looks beautiful wish Disgaea made one of their games like this but for free. Always love this type of aesthetic and gameplay, hopeful this game pops off.
"This stand alone mode with HARDLY any paid elements" 4:21 They aren't saying it's free here. This means either there is maybe paid cosmetics or something that isn't needed and this would be the best. The worst would be "You get 2 free endings, pay money to experience the other 4".

@@thanhnguyentien7902 Then say it's a free mode, not HARDLY any paid elements. WuWa and the likes are actually free. You have access to everything without paying a cent. Plus were talking about the story mode. The gacha is in the online mode.Hence the worry.

That's because they're both done by Hitoshi Sakimoto, who also did the soundtrack for Final Fantasy 12.
Will we be able to replay the story and make different choices? One of the fun parts about "choice matters" games is being able to go back and make different choices to see the different outcomes.
I’ve had fun creating content for this off of the demo alone. Can’t wait for the full launch.

Deym got no idea how or why this game suddenly appears in my phone but I'm definitely not complaining at all this is exactly what I have been looking for, tactical/strategy, pixel/classic, story/online mode, is this a dream? 😂

For people who want to know, you can only bring 3 of your gacha characters on this mode but even if you have the characters fully max out with op weapons you'll need to level up again in the story mode and you can't bring any weapon or accesory from the online mode so basically the only difference between a giga hyper whale and a normal player in that mode would be that the giga ultra whale has a bigger amount of characters to choose from and thats all.
The online mode (gacha) purpose is to fund the story mode.
So for players who don’t pay, they can reach the same level of player power, but will have to work harder to create a broader selection?
@@dancinglight8411 yeah (in the spiral of destinies at least) if you don't spend money you would need to get lucky and get a legendary early or grind for the gacha currency in events or repeatable content to reach pity, in your number 180 pull you are guaranteed to get the rate up character.
@@dancinglight8411 and you can farm dupes so you don't need to pull for the same character many times like you would in honkai star rail for example but it would take time.

i hope you give us ways to interact with the characters we summon for. like housing, farming and such so we can connect more with the characters as well.

I'm playing the demo, and the game is wonderful, very beautiful. One thing that annoyed me only was the dialog box, despite having a soft color, it still takes little away from the immersion when it appears. If I had the possibility to reduce it and make it a little translucent, it would be perfect.
A very decent SRPG game, hopefully future they add in Guild Raid and Elemental Summoning concept to make the game more fun.
Can I add Vietnamese language? Google or GPT translated versions are fine (I think other countries also want this)

Hopefully the online pvp isn't pay to win. I am super stoked for the single player game mode though.

Well i played the Beta. It is fun. But cause it is not like Champion of Continent Traveler, where the plot always one not branched like Sword of Convallaria, it is fun. But please developer when i played for other ending, please make sub quest random,not fixed! It make the game not fun.
Rather than try other route yet with same Sub Quest, i prefer fixed Route.

Tried the game on Steam. The graphic are dope, well crafted sprites, the music is on point, combat needs a little tuning and UI fixes as it is really irresponsive and very clunky at this point. The loading screens between scenarios and fights are NOT acceptable, incredible slow even on my sick rig. I get the distinct feeling this game was created for mobile platforms and has been rushed to a pc port. I have not gotten to any paid scenario yet but I can guess by judging the gem icons on top that you probably have to pay for the better heroes, new levels etc.
When will this release on ps or switch?
If only that this was switch game, 😢

So while i dont fuck with this type of games i will give this a try, i didnt like turn based combat and i liked hsr this might make me like tactical games, the graphics are cozy, the music is nice, the ui has a cozy feel to it too, the art characters look cool. if it has a good story i will like it

Fast forward a year later, I'm just waiting to see what kind of disaster it'll be and watch if it'll burn in a blaze of glory.
My heart sank when I heard that line too. But I also wouldn't be so quick to become a pessimist! The game hasn't even launched yet so we don't know how it'll work. Frankly, with gacha games, I think you should keep your hopes up--but not high.
This stupid, people have already confirmed this true by asian release and demo was put several months ago. Why do you think they would lie about promoted feature that would be found out immediately if were false? C'mon

I'm still confused, hopefully someone can tell me. how does gacha work in this game? in the spiral "story" mode, we don't have to summon... but the online mode is there the summons happen?
Well you ain't the only one confused. One thing I can say is I'm pretty sure the Gacha is online only. BUT when talking about the story they said and I quote verbatim : "This stand alone mode with HARDLY any paid elements" 4:21for reference. They aren't saying it's free outright but it may be things we don't need to buy to enjoy the story. Then again it can be endings behind a store purchase. We will see in 2 days.
Story is self contained mode and you can do it without any pulling. Fools journey is where you progress your account using units you pull from the gatcha.
@@16BitBear thanks - is a separate story or is it just like companion story side quests etc?
@@grimdarkly on the fools journey I’m not sure how deep it goes, the demo only let you do a few quests in it. The main story mode is really fleshed out though.
