The problem is that almost all of the levels in Castle Crashers are dynamic, interesting, fun, and unique looking. This creates a problem because there are far too many options for a stage from this game that could be "Smashified" without it being out of place or too far from what the original version is like. The Home Castle could work, taking place in the middle of a siege like near the beginning of the game, but so could the Thieves Forest, the Flowery Fields, and countless other levels. For now, we'll assume that it's Home Castle for the stage just to make it easier. With this stage, mutliple characters would be hanging out in the background in the exact art style of the game. Every now and then, it would transition from the Home Castle to the Wizard's Castle at the end of the game, messing up the terrain somewhat. Character: My idea would be to have the four knights like on the cover of the game, but to also include all the alternate characters that you could unlock in the game or colors based on those characters. So, the first 4 colors are the four knights, the 5th color is based on the Barbarian, the 6th based on the Thief, the 7th based on the Troll, and the 8th color based on the final boss of the game, the Evil Wizard. Potential music: this is a long list, so buckle up. Once defeated, it can be equipped to give you a Healing Orb at the start of the match. Soundtrack is Four Brave Champions. Buff Barbarian: represented by a Castle Crasher with the Barbarian color. Powered up with a permanent attack boost that doubles the strength and defense of the character. Surrounded by 3 normal Barbarian Castle Crashers. Stage: Gerudo Canyon to reference the harsh terrain most of the Barbarians are first seen at in the game. Soundtrack is Mudholes. When equipped by the player, it gives you a permanent x2 to both your defense and your damage, but severely hinders your speed. Spirit Status: Ace. The rest I leave up to you because it's a bitch to come up with these, but I think I've got some good ideas here.

When I got the game, there were barely any lobbies, maybe 6 or 7 on Xbox. But once I turned 8 (November of release year) I saw that there were tons of people playing 20-30 lobbies with different players on Xbox. But now on Xbox there are probably 2 or 3 lobbies with different players. And on PC (What I play on now) there are 4 or 5 lobbies available. I remember meeting long time friends on Xbox. Even played other games too. I even remember use discovering the "copy characters" glitch on Xbox 360 before there were level 256 characters. TL;DR Castle Crashers has aged and most people who played it gave up on it. And now you're saying it's great how it is. Another sequel would get those who used to play the game back on it again.

I played this when I was 7 years old and this game has stuck with me since. I remember fond memories with my brother and siblings playing this game and it always makes me a little teary eyed while listening to it as silly as it sounds. Our family wasn't exactly the healthiest growing up so this was an amazing get away for me and my siblings. I know this game is old and no one will see this let alone the creators but thank you for changing everything for me and for influencing my and everyone's childhood
It was my first true console game, my father showed it to me and my brother and back in the day we strugle a lot to finish the volcano level as well as the dragon boss and the cyclops, but years later I saw this game and finished it very quickly with the red knight, and then I contiue with other characters. in PvP or story mode? in story mode I had to do certain strategies in order to win (I play blue Knight). EX: those heavy knights cant be tossed in the air so I have to dash in front and slap them. beefy guys: arrows or ice. still doing lava castle in hard mode. depending on other enemies, I often slap them in the air. PvP mode depends. they run like little girls, even when not against me. but I go head on for most enemies.
all of the music goes so well with the game and boss fights in general. i have so many memories with this game and it probably has to be my favorite game soundtrack of all time

when i was little me and my dad used to play cc all day and all night, we unlocked all the swords and pets, beat all the side levels, unlocked all the characters, and beat the whole campaign. i’m so glad i got to spend that time with him
I remember being 8 years old and inviting my friends over to my house to play on my old Xbox360. I only had 2 controllers and 1 of them was kinda broken, so they had to sometimes bring over their own controller. That didnt mean anything though, because it was so good, that it makes me want to go back...

Just returned to this game after years of not playing it, decided to replay it again by buying the remastered version on my switch, the moment i heard this playing when i booted the game up, i immediately bursted into tears of happiness, god where did the years go.

Here is this game not so popular like in America but in 2009,2010, 2011,2012 and 2013 it was hit. I have now also a Xbox 360 and a Xbox One X. I will buy the Remaster Version on the Xbox One X and make a Let's Play on RUclips

Because last time I checked, Red knight was spamming electricity and running away when the mana bar was depleted and just did the same.
Blue knight just spammed his magic jump and ran away, and was blocking forever.

And pink was spamming arrows :)
Green would fart on everyone and just run away.
Orange Knight would just explode everyone
Gray Knight would just spam the attack button :)

in PvP or story mode?
in story mode I had to do certain strategies in order to win (I play blue Knight). EX: those heavy knights cant be tossed in the air so I have to dash in front and slap them. beefy guys: arrows or ice. still doing lava castle in hard mode.
depending on other enemies, I often slap them in the air. PvP mode depends. they run like little girls, even when not against me. but I go head on for most enemies.
I can't name every song by heart but if I hear a single second from this soundtrack

all of the music goes so well with the game and boss fights in general. i have so many memories with this game and it probably has to be my favorite game soundtrack of all time
