Hey Gear Wire, how bout less talk and more play? We can figure the settings out once we get the thing home. Matter of fact, you don't even need to talk at all, just play the thing. We are not idiots. Just let us hear the gear!
Sounds way too dry and bassy. I think it's because of the player and his bad settings. Is there any difference between TM30 and 60 because the 60 costs almost twice as much as the 30? Yep, I know it has two speakers and 30 watts more but that shouldn't cost twice as much as one speaker 30 watt version.
OMG! this is NOT how this amp actually sounds! I dont know how he did it but the guy playing this TM30 made it sound anything but like it actually sounds?
I agree with an earlier statement. Infamous isn't More than famous, its: 1. Having an exceedingly bad reputation; notorious. 2. Causing or deserving infamy; heinous: an infamous deed. 3. Law a. Punishable by severe measures, such as death, long imprisonment, or loss of civil rights. b. Convicted of a crime, such as treason or felony, that carries such a punishment. You should be shot for such a lousy way to start a review. They're one of the better solid state amps..
Tubes does not mean an amp will sound good. I have had plenty of tubes amps that sound like absolute shit! A crate vintage 100H head(so thin sounding you can hear a pin drop when its cranked). A blackheart Hothead100(another amp that has great gbuild quality but absolutely no tone! Very thin! I have owned many marshalls and still have to tweek them with mods. I own and play a trademark 10, and my pro rig is an sansamp PSA 1.1 20th anoversary Preamp into a VHT tube power amp.It Kills!
Owen O'Malley is incorrect here. "Infamous" does not mean "more than famous". It means disgraceful, or having a bad reputation- much like Mr. O'Malley and his Gearwire schlock.
Eminence speaker... blah. Solid state trying to sound like tubes... even worse. Come on, heard of "Near enough isn't good enough." Trying to say a solid-state amp is as good as a tube amp is the same as saying; "My car is a Mazda. Mazda race Formula 1, therefore my car s a Formula 1." If you think I am wrong, compare listening to proper valve tone for a 3 hour gig compared to 3 hours of solid-state. HUGE difference.
gearwire keeps getting better. good review
I liked the review. I'm getting me this amp. Good job dude......
Geniuses, I believe the IN-famous line is a reference the THREE AMIGOS.
It's a sweater. .....
Is just me or is the amp always way too low in the mix in gearwire reviews?
Sounds like a tube amp but am I right that there are no tubes in this at all
A decade late reply, but for the rest: yes, no tubes. This is basically a SansAmp GT2 connect to power amp
Good review. Fuzzface is my favorite gearwire reviewer. You should do a vid on the sansamp.
I dont understand very well what the boy says but reading the comentaries i think is better!!
hmmm acdc didnt sound like acdc and srv didnt sound like srv ??
I have heard really good things about these amps, but didnt see them here ?
could u use the power engine amp with a bass?
still i keep finding it harder to go solid state its clearly noticably cold aint tube warm
My GOD.....MY GOD....Can´t just belive it
Had I watched this review and not the one 300guitars did, I wouldn't have bought the amp.
audio recording is bad~ i think this amp performs much better
Infamous does not mean more than famous. It also does not mean famouser or really famous.

Playing wasn't bad at all but the audio quality sucks. Just get this amp if you come across one you will love it. Hey its got a gt2 built right in.
i can hear it all day long 2:29
Gearwire has no idea how to make a good sounding review.
Infamous = notorious, not something you'd want an amp, to be :P

@radekxito hahahahaha yes!! it is! It looks exactly like him
lol 'infamous' does NOT mean "more than famous", it means notorious in a negative way..
I thought it was nice not to see another amp demo full of bad blues soloing...
1000 percent agreed if I hear do do do do dooo do...One more time I'll bleed out
I've watched a lot of Gearwire reviews, and they just consistently make everything sound awful. I'm sorry, but it's true.

+Ben Dally
you beat me! but only by a year...
...lip balm?
You should probably tune your guitar before doing an amp review...Just a thought.
Eminence speaker... blah.
Solid state trying to sound like tubes... even worse.

is it just me but they were awful tones sounds and examples. Sorry. But I had heard it was a a good amp and this has seriously put me off
"this guy"...my guitar equipment tends to be female. luck of the draw, i guess
It sounds awful in the video, hope it's not like that in real life.
LOL
WTF?
Nice amp, great amp, terrible review, bad info and horrible banging on the guitar. Sorry.
Get Marty Schwartz to do your reviews.
Ron
