Tyson Fury needs one coach and one voice. He needs someone like Peter Fury. If Peter Fury would have been his trainer, Tyson Fury would have never faded after the 7th round and he would never have excessively "backfooted", which allowed Usyk to pressure him the way he did. Peter Fury trains fighters to go the distance and to give 100% in each and every round. He trains fighters to be both pro-actively offensive and pro-actively defensive.
I knew with both Sugar Hill and John Fury being in the corner that there would be the problems. Sugar Hill is purely one-dimensional. John Fury has a lot of insight and knowledge but in crucial times and in critical situations he loses poise and composure. Tyson Fury needs a training team who is as professional as Team Usyk. He needs to approach his former trainer Peter Fury. Only if he gets together with his mentor can he have any hopes of winning the rematch.
If Joshua, with more power and strength, could not KO Usyk, it was highly doubtful Fury could do just that especially in the non-Championship rounds. He needed a trainer who would have prepared him for war for all 12 rounds, using both effective offensive and defensive techniques.

If that was Fury hitting Usyk like that in the 9th round the ref would've stopped it. The ref robbed Usyk of a highlight reel knockout. He gave him like a 20 count to get him out of that round. The commentators were ridiculous as well saying Fury was running away with the fight. I only clearly gave Fury rounds 4, 5 and 6. 7 close but I gave it to Usyk and round 12 was close enough to maybe give to Fury. The 115-112 judge for Usyk did a good job I can see that score but I had it 116-111 for Usyk.

@@emjay3066 Horrible take. He ran most of the fight and would've been knocked out late in the 9th if the ref didn't save his life. You can make a case for a 116-111 scorecard in favor of Usyk. The 115-112 judge was legit.

And compubox has the punch stats round by round was 5-5 with 2 rounds draw but Loma landed more power punches in those 2 tied rounds. Definitely a robbery

It was close. It’s not the same as Ryan v Haney where it was one sided and the judge was corrupt. This was a very close fight, Tyson was leading in early rounds, Usyk caught up. Don’t be a casual.

Why are the press lying to Fury ? He won 4 rounds, 5 at a push and was saved by the bell in the 9th ………….. TRUTH BE TOLD !
My view is he could have won that fight if he didn’t try to clown around after he became dominant…but he lost concentration, lost focus and Usyk took advantage. I don’t think is uk should have got a 10-8 as Tyson survived to the bell….but because usyk took over the fight after that I believe he deserved the win. All fury had to do was be serious for 12 rounds but that’s his weakness and everyone has one…rematch will be interesting.
How is it not a 10 -8 round it was counted as a knock down that is an automatic 10-8 rnd the only way it wouldn't be was if tyson got up and then dominated the rest of the round with he didn't he was saved by the bell
Regardless of what you thought, you can't dispute that the fight could have been a TKO in the 9th. Fury was not defending himself at all and out on his feet. Would have preferred a TKO for Usyk. One of the judge tried to rob Usyk anyway. That's why you don't want a decision in a fight like this.

He was actually fighting fairly slick until that 9th... and he was about to be put away, without that damn ref. He was keeping Usyk at range for most of the fight until then, which was perfect, until it wasn't

The fight wasn't close, the most rounds could have won is four, rounds 3-6, he was outclassed and TKO'd in the 9th.

Man I really think people are just hating on Fury. Even if he fell, it would’ve been a knock down which they counted it as one and he would’ve gotten back up because he obviously wasn’t gonna get knocked out. ‘Was gonna’ is just your feelings talking. Yeah, you were excited, but objectively you’re entirely uncertain whether or not he was going to knock him out. Plus, the ropes seemed to stop his fall and that would warrant an 8 count. And no I’m not a fury fan.
Anytime a boxer says they thought they were ahead on the scorecards and so they took off the last rounds, it means they ran out of gas by round 10.

Usyk showed he can crack when needed. He was stepping all the way into those shots in the 9th. Credit to Fury, man has one tough chin but should've taken a knee. He was never going to recover from a beating like that 9th Rd. That was much worse than taking a hard one or two punch knock down.
Actually that's a good point. If Tyson had immediately dropped down, he might have had enough in the tank to win another couple rounds and thus edge out the win.

I can't believe he made it to end of fight. He never looked sharp at all again, but just the fact he actually made it through 3 more rounds after that, is unreal. I gave Usyk the first 2, but it was VERY close. Tyson was very dominat in rounds 3 to 7. Then Usyk stepped it up in 8. 9 was the Benny Hill show. 10 and 11 Usyk. 12 Fury. 114-113 Usyk. The knowdown won it fair and sqaure bascially.

Fury has slowed down considerably, he also did not use his height agaunst Usyk the way he did with Klitschko, Wlad had a very difficult time getting close and landing. Usyk is like a prime heavyweight version of Manny Pacquiao.

Fury seems a bit confused here ain't no way he won 7-8 rounds of that fight. Yes it was a close, tight and fantastic fight. Usyk didn't dominate but he did win fair and square. I also didn't like how Fury claimed they gave it to Usyk simply because of the war.
But at least he admitted he was hurt. Unlike so many other fighters who deny it. Because in that 9th round he was absolutely hurt.
