its really awesome that you dont need to understand a lick of japanese to understand whats going on and enjoy playing and watching someone playing the game. YOU ROCK JAPAN!
13:42 I KNOW THOSE LIL GREEN CREATURES! There from a konami game for the wii called Elebit's! It's kind of pikmin meets house of the dead like in gameplay, you have to find The Elebits in order to collect watts! The green Elebit is the most common type of Elebit! It's Quite the underated gem!
If I'm not wrong, the Jackpot movie that he got at 12:36 is not a normal one in the game (search for those Japanese RUclipsrs playing that, there is a lot out there), but rather as a part of "Special Guest Stage", which shows music videos from many Konami games (for example, Bemani songs, or the one you mentioned)

I remeber Iived in Okinawa back in the 90's and they arcades made the states look like childs play . For 3 years.after school I would go to the Sega arcade by karena airbase and play for hours . Best time of my life
So to answer a bunch of questions about prices/ what you do with the coins. You can store your coins in a coin machine and withdraw them the next time you want to play. That’s it. No money or prices.
Does anyone know if this machine is based on an existing IP? The closest I could find was a video game entry of The Seven Deadly Sins that carried the subtitle "Grand Cross".
It's actually part of it's own series! Konami made these coinpushers back in 2006 under the name "Grand Cross," then updated to "Grand Cross Plus" in 2008. They then made a sequel called "Grand Cross Premium" in 2009, then the third one called "Grand Cross Chronicle" in 2011 (which is the one they played), then "Grand Cross Dream Sphere" in 2013, then after 6 years, they made "Grand Cross Legend". Right now, they are making a new Grand Cross game called "Grand Cross Gold."
@@nickpeck4561 Personally, I kind of wish that they play the Dream Sphere one (that Grand Cross machine in the video had Dream Sphere lol)... That one has a unique gimmick of balls with different effects when dropped. The playfield was also unique that it has 3 lanes (there are 2 bars which separates them into lanes for the balls), so it plays a part of the gameplay (Example, there are special balls in addition of the normal balls, which depends on the the position and type of the balls on the fleld). It uses projection mapping to display animations and type of balls on the playfield. _fun fact: Some parts of Grand Cross Gold are reused from Dream Sphere, such as being able to shoot medals, the ball lottery at the left/right, widescreen display, etc..._ (late comment tho...)
So I get that you win the coins from the machine but how does that work when you come back to the US? Do they allow you to take the coins back on the plane?
unfortunately these tokens aren't worth anything and you can just use them on the same game or other token based games at the arcade you won them in, the point if these japanese token games is the fun rather than the prize because technically it's classed as gambling which mostly isn't allowed in japanese arcades
Because Americans are obsessed with money everyone asks whats the point if the wins are not worth anything. So u can hang out with a good looking girl and hang with ur friends , priceless
Why does no one show what you can actually get from redemption of the coins/tickets??? I know most of the excitement is from the gambling and all the lights, whistles, animations...but it'd be nice to see what happens after all of it. That is what you can do for the next video
What is the reason for playing? All you win back are those medal coins, can you turn the coins in for money back or do you just play this game for the fun of it all.
Many times you can sell Pachinko balls back (for a profit) but always at a separate location; usually just down the street. It may work like this with coins also.
Omg omg im so excited for ya all i would have a heart attack with that kind of win . How long ya all in japan maybe ya could catch up with Kaiwi claw masters
Would be a lot more entertaining if you did a but of research before starting the video. Its not my intention to sound rude however it becomes really obnoxious when you say I don't know what's going on or since deritive of that statement every few minutes. Hope the recommendation helps a bit. Good Luck in the future!!!
i like your voice man its so sexy ، Do not get me wrong, I mean you are a special person and loved, I really wish I had a friend like you ،I want to gamble now with you lol
I dont get it you pay for all tge coins and you win the same coins back just a small percentage of what u put in that you in return just play with the coins you win
Japan: congrats! You won!
US: The machine malfunctioned there is no jackpot I’m going to have to ask you to leave
Japan, it's about honor of accomplishments.
I wish we had things like this in the States...
I don’t understand why we don’t. I could spend HOURS playing this.
They kinda do in arcades... Just not as thrilling as this. Mostly because of corporate greed and picked chances over skills and gambling laws
Medal games are made because gambling is illegal in japan (i think)

"OH MY GOD IT'S PUTTING IN SO MANY TOKENS!"
- Gambit 2019
This is what happens when you ban gambleing ... the gambleing gets creative.
So to answer a bunch of questions about prices/ what you do with the coins. You can store your coins in a coin machine and withdraw them the next time you want to play. That’s it. No money or prices.
Fun game, there. Could not believe when that tray came to you and pumped out so many tokens at you. Awesome.
I heard Entry of the Gladiators when y’all won the jackpot
The reaction unique to foreigners is good! Japanese people aren't very happy when they hit
I wish you would buy a camera mount!
Talk about making it rain. Congrats Gambit!

Do you win money more tokens or tickets from this?

these games are awesome!!!!!
Really liked how you explained what was happening, thank you
The question i have, what do you win? Do you win a ticket to get gold, or do u win a plushie?
what do you win in japan is it money?
What kind of metal are the medals made of ?
Do you exchange the coins for money?
You should see ours in the uk all you get is key rings of a plastic toy car
Why don't they have machines like this in North America?
Asking the real questions right here, but I really don't know.
Because Americans are obsessed with money everyone asks whats the point if the wins are not worth anything. So u can hang out with a good looking girl and hang with ur friends , priceless
i dont know where to look on that machine XD
Crazy!!!! Love it

You can do nothing with the won coins. Store them in a coin machine for the next time. That’s all
Okay, then what is the point of playing these 'games' if you aren't able to redeem anything? You are just wasting money for the fun of it?
JRyan2K jup. Basicically that.
What is the reason for playing? All you win back are those medal coins, can you turn the coins in for money back or do you just play this game for the fun of it all.
My brother lives in Adkins.
Fungasm...
I got dizzy from you moving the camera to watch the ball on satellite challenge
Do you actually win anything with them or do you just get more coins?
you just play for fun
yeah, strictly for fun
Gambling is actually banned in Japan, so there's nothing to win, just for fun :-)
You can win prizes and exchange the prizes at a TUC place for money. That's how they get around the gambling laws.
Many times you can sell Pachinko balls back (for a profit) but always at a separate location; usually just down the street. It may work like this with coins also.
Is that actual money?
What does the ball actually do ?
What do u get for the balls u win?? Love this game!! Awesome!!
Somethings Happening!
Is This is Arlo
Omg omg im so excited for ya all i would have a heart attack with that kind of win . How long ya all in japan maybe ya could catch up with Kaiwi claw masters
We've been home for about 2 months already 😁

I agree. I don't find it very entertaining to hear a frantic, whiny "what's going?" or "What's happening?" every 2 minutes.
Just think how much more fun it would be if you knew what was going on with the game.
Not knowing exactly whats going on is all part of the fun.
i like your voice man its so sexy ، Do not get me wrong, I mean you are a special person and loved, I really wish I had a friend like you ،I want to gamble now with you lol
Can you do something with this coins?
They are converted to gold chips that can be exchanged for money at a nearby Shop
@@KyureiProductions ok tnank you
Do you actually win money? I am being honest.
Yes you do
I might have to dislike because I just spent 30 mins watching coins drop lol
