One day, you wake up with a cloud in your head. You feel out of place and uninspired, and juggle so many worries the balance is skewed. That was Armin van Buuren three years ago. He put so much love and passion into his work and found it hard to cope with the fact that not everyone can be pleased. Something needed to change. So he reformed his life routines, took up meditation to calm the storm and did everything he could to negate the numbness. And what he ended up with was a newfound love for music and an incredible three-part album: ‘Feel Again’.
From ‘No Fun’ and ‘Computers Take Over The World’ to ‘One More Time’, ‘Come Around Again’ and ‘Roll The Dice', the ‘Feel Again’ album sonically represents the journey of an artist extraordinaire radically looking for harmony within himself. Its 34 tracks may be different in terms of sound, but together, they reflect an equilibrium that could only come from a man in balance.
From reconnecting to friends, family and fans to finding inner peace, ‘Feel Again’ means acknowledging harsh truths, finding out what really matters and letting that power a new step forward. Because in the evergreen words of Armin van Buuren himself, “we’re still learning and will never stop learning till the day we die”.

Let me guess. You're one of these elitists who stopped listening to Armin after he released his Mirage or Imagine album.
Armin van Buuren never left Trance and he hasn't produced any Pop. The majority of his releases are all Trance or Trance-influenced and from time to time, he also releases Dance genres such as House. This song in particular is Deep House.
I can name you all the Trance tracks he released last year + the last decade. His rework of Chicane's Offshore is a good example.

He is a legend and even these "elitists" say that, and even after Imagine or Mirage there were plenty of good trance by him, such as Intense, Ja'i Envie De Toi, Save My Night or even later - Just As You Are, Cosmos or Asot 1000 anthem (and his other anthems). Also his album ASOT Forever proves he still got it.
The problem is - 2022 was his worst year ever. Hardly no trance out there (Offshore was just a remake, so it doesn't really count), some club mixes, Let You Down, Clap and that;s it. Come Around Again, Roll The Dice, One More Time and the rest of his '22 radio tunes are absolutely unlistenable and boring. We want a Rising Star single, 135-140BPM woman vocal masterpiece, like Home With You, For All Time - THIS IS TRANCE.
@@mateuszwozniak5828 You only think 2022 is his worst year because you don't appreciate other forms of music and don't understand the concept of creativity. Armin can do whatever he wants. He is a music producer and if he wants to create other genres next to Trance, he should do so.
And remakes and remixes also count as official releases. And nearly all his tracks he released in 2022 had influences were Trance or had influence from it. Including Roll The Dice. If you actually listened to the songs, you could hear it too. Even his collab with Gareth Emery has Trance influences in it. No questioning about that, since Hardcore is one of the genres Trance has evolved out of.
And no. 135-140 BPM is not THE Trance. Trance can range from 110 to 150 BPM. Sometimes it goes even beyond 150 BPM. The fact you only think 135-140 BPM is Trance and that you don't like his other songs purely because they're not Trance is enough for me to realize you have no knowledge at all about Trance or any other forms of music and don't see Armin as a legend at all.
You're just deluded. And only someone who truly loves music, like me, understands that everything you say is just straight up nonsense.

Trust me I know much more about trance than u can imagine and I've been listening to trance since early 00's. I've seen Armin live and many more producers, I'm into it and I absolutely adore trance cause it takes me to another world.
135-140BPM is just my favorite type - obviously I know u can turn the tempo down or up, silly. I just prefer it in this specific tempo, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
You say I don't appreciate other forms of music. Well, I'll let you know that this "form of music that Armin produced back in 2022" is made mostly by ghost producers - these tunes haven't even been seen or heard by Armin until the very release and sometimes these tunes are made in few hours. Watch some documentaries about it to find out yourself. Armin's creativity is slowly dying and I'm not really surprised - as I said - he IS a true legend and Master of Trance and nobody or nothing can deny it, amount of sets and tunes by him is outstanding, above 1100 episodes of radio show, interviews, festivals, collabs - trust me, anyone would start to burn out after so much work.
By the way - trance itself is dying as well. You will say that "I just can't appreciate the new style of trance" - well, go and find some stats about trance events. People just don't go to trance festivals as frequently as 10-20 years ago. It's just a fact, no nonsense or "my opinion". And that's another reason why Armin is doing different styles - he just wants to stay popular and active - don't get me wrong, it's totally fine, he is a celebrity, and a music producer and wants to stay "valid", I think tha'ts ok. But sometimes, it's nice to hear these roots of trance, some music that made this guy extremely popular - Rising Star, Gaia, Armin Only, etc. I hope U understand, I don't want to be rude or to argue, that's not my point. Trance should be uniting people.

It's true that he produces his tracks together with Benno de Goeij, but Benno doesn't produce the entire track. And if there's anyone else involved, it's a songwriter who wrote the lyrics for vocal tracks. And they all receive credit after a track is released.
Armin is always involved in the creation of his songs. He composes the music himself behind the piano, then he goes into the studio to create the layout. Then he puts all the beats, synthesizers etc. in. And then Benno comes in to mix and master the track and then it's ready for release. And when it is released, Benno and the songwriter both get credited when the track is released. Ghost producers never get any credit when the track is released. That's why they're named ghost producers. If you truly are a producer, you should know that. And if you don't understand that, you're just an imposter and not even an intelligent one for that matter.
This has been known for years now and Armin has said himself that he dislikes the entire concept of ghost producing. "“I think it’s a really odd phenomenon. For example, everyone remembers the whole Milli Vanilli scandal, how cheated people felt. I think it's wrong if someone puts a name on a track they had nothing to do with, that they weren't even in the studio for. I've never used a ghost producer". Benno also said himself he is not a ghost producer, but more a helping hand and that the majority of the production process is done by Armin.
The fact you think that this is not true already shows how delusional and uneducated you are. Armin van Buuren is a producer and a very talented one. His creativity doesn't decline. It keeps getting better only as time goes on and it evolves. If his music was dying, nobody would listen to it and he wouldn't have had hits anymore, both in Trance and other genres. The fact he still produces Trance hits and other successes in other genres is enough evidence that his creativity isn't dying. Same goes for other big artists. And the reason he does other genres is because he is an open minded music lover. He doesn't care about popularity, the only thing he is in this industry for is the music. "I'm just a humble law student from the Netherlands who's not into drugs, crazy after partying or making lots of money. I'm just in this industry because I'm really, truly passionate about this music. And I hope that shines through". And just for your own info, he already did other genres next to Trance back in the early days of his career. He is a creative individual and whenever he can make music, he knows how to put that creativity to good use. If you can't produce more genres, the artist life is not worth living.
Speaking of evolution: Trance ain't dying. Trance is evolving and changing as time goes on. You only think it's dying because it doesn't sound like what you're used to anymore. Trance is alive and well and there is a BIG CROWD of people who adore Trance, just the music industry doesn't place Trance music on TV and Radio, like 10-15 years ago. That's the only difference.
If you really were a producer, saw Armin as a legend and knew about Trance, you would know about everything I just told you. The fact you don't makes you another one of these snobbish imposters who has no real knowledge about music and claim that they say Armin is a legend, but in fact hate him because he doesn't produce the sound you're used to. And especially you saying he doesn't do anything on his music is just pure blasphemy and doesn't give you the right to call yourself an Armin fan.
