A few weeks after finishing my February & March Florida Tour with @KatinaEatsKilos, I started a Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour. For event #27, I stayed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma so I could become the first person to attempt and help kick off the new 6+lb Massive Mexican Hacienda "900" Tacos Challenge at the Midtown Plaza location of Hacienda Tacos owned by my friend's Robby and Steve. The original location is in the The Shoppes in Northpark Mall. Both restaurants now offer 900g/2lb massive monster-sized tacos and this "900" Tacos Challenge. I had 1 hour to feast on 3 different supersized tacos from their menu, each weighing around 900g or 2lbs total!! They each had 2 burrito sized tortillas held together by Queso Chihuahua. I ordered a Marinated Pork Taco, a juicy Chicken Taco, and a Baja Shrimp Taco which had a delicious Kimchi Slaw and both fried and grilled pieces of shrimp in a delicious Baja sauce. I was trying to become the first champion to win my $90 taco meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on the Midtown Plaza location's Wall of Fame. BIG thanks to Robby & Steve the owners, Steve's son Chad, and everyone with Hacienda Tacos for the wonderful tacos, drinks, desserts, and hospitality!! Special thanks also to the amazing people who came up that Monday evening to watch and meet me!! Massive Mexican Hacienda "900" Tacos Challenge w/ Baja Shrimp in Oklahoma City, OK ($90):
- Hacienda Tacos has two locations serving the Oklahoma City, Oklahoma area. There is one in the The Shoppes in Northpark Mall plus another in Midtown Plaza, which is the location I visited for this video.
- The Hacienda Tacos phone number for both locations is 405-900-TACO (8226), and that is the inspiration for this "900" Tacos Challenge, available at both restaurant locations.
- They offer massive 900 gram (2lbs) tacos of your choosing served using 2 giant burrito tortillas.
- Two tortillas are used to hold everything together, stuck together using Queso Chihuahua.
- Each of the tacos on their menu can be supersized into a giant monster-sized 2lb/900g taco.
- For my challenge, I ordered a marinated pork taco, a juicy chicken taco, and Baja Shrimp Taco.
- The Roughtail Beer I drank in this video was optional & not required: roughtailbeer.com
- There is a 1 hour time limit to finish everything. You don't have to order all 3 tacos at one time. You can start with two and losers just pay for however many they ordered ($30/Each).
- Winners earn the $90 taco meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and spot on Hacienda Wall of Fame!!

Good job Randy! I'm glad you finished those tacos and didn't have to pay $90. I realize those things are huge but the only way I'd pay $30 for a taco is if there was $20 inside it. Awesome win Randy.
