No If the Vastukar is taking reference from the Granths. Yes there is some differences between the Vastu in Northern and Southern Vastu granths. Like Vishwakarma Prakash is of North and Mayamatam is of South. But the result will be same.

I just want to know that how to check south facing i.e. south direction while entering in the home from main door or leaving from the main door. Secondly if main entrance is not south and any bed room is in south direction then it's ok to stay in that home? Kindly reply.

All directions are good to stay, it all depends where the main entrance is located in which Pada's and how the internal Structure/plan is Designed.
