I don’t know why but I almost cried when Max and Mathilda welcomed Mormor when she was arriving, and again when she was in the car saying, “home at last, home at last. Thank you, God, I am home at last.” ❤
I see Mormor in Max and Little Saga. Glad Mormor got to visit with her relatives and friends she hadn't seen in a long time. Mormor in the car saying, “Home at last, home at last...thank you, God, I am home at last.” So sweet. 🥰
👍🤩💝 I got really choked up. This was so precious & beautiful. I appreciate you remembering your grandpa Dave & grandma Fanny at the end of the video. 💝 My mom encouraged me to travel since I was a child. When I became an adult it has always been my biggest budget item and I have traveled every week throughout my career. My mom never got to travel as mush as she wanted to due to health limitations. She lived vicariously through me as I traveled. She was always the first person I called when I landed. Rest In Peace mommy & daddy. Gone but never forgotten. 🙏💝
I had a wee chuckle when Maya mentioned "shoving your granny on a bus" , I carried on watching singing ; "Oh yae canny shove yer granny aff a bus, Yae canny shove yer granny aff a bus, Yae canny shove yer granny, 'Cause she's yer mammy's mammy, Yae canny shove yer granny aff a bus". Just couldnae resit it. I live in Germany (73 at the end of this month) and am and intend to ride a motorcycle to the Shetlands later this year to visit relatives there, plus others in The Livingston area on the way with no time schedule olong the way. With Ireland too on the return journeyit'll bee about 4.5 to 5k kms.
When i saw the title i was like whoa…where? How? Who??? But its Maxes so makes sense…so Saga is part scotish as well…I lived in Scotland for a few months…special kind of people ❤❤❤
Awwwn man, this is so precious! A few years ago I went to Colombia again after not having been there for 10 years, I was born there. As soon as the plane landed and I saw the mountains and I just bawled my eyes out. And when I was driving to my birthcity I felt this "home at last" feeling throughout, couldn't help but cry. No matter how many years I've been away, and no matter how much I integrate in Europe, Colombia will always be home♥️
Wow Max, so happy & excited that your grandmother traveled back to her home country, Scotland! I hope more 'Seniors' see this vlog (who are able to travel with spouses/friends / or alone) to never miss this opportunity & enjoy life to the fullest! Happy Wednesday !
Hi from Australia 👋🏾 Aw this was lovely. Maya's story about her Grandma 😢 i have trauma that i will never just drop anyone off to the airport and leave before they board because i dropped my Mum off and did not stay because parking was too expensive and she passed away while she was overseas 😢 now i am just like Maya making sure they are boarding and with my father i just travel with him cz cant let him go alone 🤦🏾♀️ thank you for sharing this i tell everyone the same thing especially when its the elderly never leave them alone until you absolutely have to.

6:22 You felt like crap? Good. That was a stupid, irresponsible, and callous thing to do. And you were in your 20’s. You weren’t 5.
