Five, if the peninsula is under the South Korean government, they have a lot of catching up to do to get Pyongyang and the "underdeveloped" North up to speed with the "advanced" South, not to mention the amount of northeners whom might flock to the advanced South for the moment. Six, if the peninsula is united by heaven forbid, the North Korean regime, North Korea might have a lot of economic and industrial advantage, but they might have to start performing purges towards religion and the heavily westernized culture, including KPop. Foreigners living in the south and people accustomed to the freedom and liberalism will be heavily pressured and oppressed.
