See, that's the kind of thing that people who play various types of TCGs love. The strategy, sure, but it is the interconnected synergy that _really_ tells you how well someone knows the game they're engaging with, and enjoying it. Although a strange addition, I do like the card deck system, and especially the idea behind its resource utility that it has built in with it. Obviously it has the more practical use that Jardon favors with the LH/AP boosts, etc. from his own deck, but the variability of these cards is really nice. Easily one of the better recent systems added, though I do agree that holo/foil cards should juice for one point more regardless of the baked in effect the card has. I doubt people would really be all that inclined to ignore good non-foils just because a foil suddenly juices for more. It's a matter of which utility would be better; 1 more point, or a better baseline card effect from the beginning?
I do have a small critique about the 'window' for the text portion of the card deck gui; it could probably be stretched to match the bottom of the player's hotbar of their inventory gui for ease of readability without scrolling when unnecessary. It just seems to me that a highly optimized deck would only rely on a very few things based on the player's build, so stretching the window a little longer (even if it has a pretty big empty space below where the text ends) would make the 'at a glance' perspective easier to follow without panning over to check how it changed things around on multiple lines where combo applicable, but hidden because you need to scroll.
I'd add it so you could right click any card to make it highlight what it's looking for (by coloring the slot and any item with the appropriate color). If you rightclick a card asking for red adjacent and there's a blue - it'll highlight the background red and the card will have a visible neon-red slash through the card signifying it's not helping. This toggles on each card right-clicked (so you can set numerous selected ones to show this coloring effect).
I'd also state there should be a tick box where if you click it, all slots (cards) show this - so any slot with a card slashed through it means it isn't helping a card somewhere else, whereas any card with the background matching the card without any slashes through it (in the event of a wild card with numerous colors) means it's perfect where it's at.
One more thing: I'd suggest to make it that an *unopened* pack can be juiced for 3x its value. Whilst an open pack can be juiced for 2x. This would give a gambling incentive of "should I juice the pack to level up a card, or dig for a card I could use?". Could also put incentives behind it - like resource packs giving 20, and 10 if opened, since they're somewhat valuable.
