Richard Harrow was a great character in a worthy series. He was a cold-blooded killer, yet sensitive and vulnerable, and wounded tragic figure. Yeah, he gave "Boardwalk Empire" added flavor. That bad ass shoot up scene of the Gyp Rosetti enclave is pretty gruesome ... and pretty cool as a movie-action sequence.
Sad thing was he only wanted a normal life, but the war and his facial injuries stole that from him. I guess he figured there was nothing left in the world for him to do other than something he was good at - killing people.
He did spare one potential victim on the basis that he had two daughters. Though there was one other guy who didn't have kids and sadly got the bullet.

Best character of the entire show hands down. Especially knowing that Nucky killed Jimmy. Really like how he realized Jimmy just lost fairly and how he had no grudge. It just shows the respect he had and the level of morals as well.
