MJF being in that great feud with CM Punk feels like a distant memory
True, remember that great segment he had with william regal, and after wining the championship and betraying him he gave the same speech he gave months before and people were like wowwww he had a true reason, where is that booking? Guess was Regal controlling it, because after he left it all went to shits.
Looking back, it's become clear Punk was the real brains behind that feud being great. I like MJF but boy he seems to have regressed badly

To sum up what's wrong with MJF and Adam Cole's story.
1) Complete waste of Devil Storyline which led to nowhere
2) Undisputed Kingdom disappearing like it never happened and not meaning anything
3) MJF was the clear cut babyface in this feud against Adam Cole but now he is a heel.
4)MJF return as babyface to confront Adam Cole who was a heel.
5) Why is MJF a heel and Adam Cole babyface now when MJF is the one who betrayed by Cole.
6) Why is muscular MJF running away from Adam Cole who looks like a zero threat.
Their is no story here, TK should have never let this two get into the program, MJF injury made the UK mean nothing since the faction was created to bring down MJF. This is one of the most bizzare feud.
@@romelmunoz7957It's bad bad when the neutral and hardcore AEW fans, are calling out this angle of this feud. Adam Cole saying "Story Time with Adam Cole" was ironic considering their is no story. The whole feud had clear cut babyface and heel the double here makes zero sense. Adam Cole's promo wasn't convincing at all and doesn't justify what he did to countless babyface when he was active in Undisputed Kingdom as the Devil.

Even Uncle Dave acknowledged this Adam Cole/MJF feud has been confusing with all the face/heel changes.
I get it from storytelling standpoint, Antonio Inoki tribute segment was a clear indicator that Tony Khan is still doing coke so all the loop holes of this plot are in TK nose.
With that beeing said just visual of MJF dressing same way as Garcia (after takings shirt off) making him look like younger, skinnier brother beeing bullied only to run away from Cole who's even more smaller and skinnier makes it looks even funnier.

I loved AEW fans flailing away trying to defend this by saying "Well, Roman came back as a babyface with no explanation" as if the two were remotely comparable lmao 😭
What those morons don't understand is there was a reason for Roman to go baby face after WrestleMania solo sakoa decided to take the bloodline hostage in Roman Reigns absence when he has no legitimate claim to being the tribal chief the fans know how great Roman is while sakoa is a young Punk stepping out of line by comparison he didn't challenge Roman for the leadership of the bloodline like a man instead he took a title went behind the Chiefs back and committed treason by trying to take a title he has no right to it's like me saying I'm your ruler and King even though I have no proof or claim to that title the thing is sakoa is in way over his head but he's so deluded with his false sense of power he can't see it to make matters worse outside of Jimmy USO sakoa has taken more pinfall losses than any member of the bloodline making his claim to the title ridiculous buy comparison since becoming the tribal chief Roman Reigns had only been pinned twice in 4 years but sakoa when the stakes are highest loses every big match when it matters I get the feeling even though this is the worst storyline in aew history Adam Cole is only a face because MJF is a heel and you know how stubborn Tony Khan is we must finish this story no matter what remember when Adam page became champion by defeating keny omega? Nobody gave a rat's ass because before the title win he was booked to hang out with the dark order a comedy stable he was also a pathetic sad drunk it was always the plan by Tony Khan for Adam page to win the title from omega he was just booked like a pathetic loser so when he won the title no one cared if Khan is insistent on bringing Cole back do the sensible thing and having do something else I get the sense that this storyline was so terrible that fans would have rather put bleach in Their Eyes then have this storyline continue this promotion is for the benefit of Tony Khan only and anybody who watches on TV or goes to the tapings in person is just along for the Ride and Tony Khan has the nerve to wonder why TV ratings and ticket sales are going down

This is going to be so difficult to get out of, the booking was atrocious and now both Cole and Max look so stupid.
It would have made more sense for Cole to return as a heel and get badly beat up by Wardlow, who then reunites with MJF and subsequently paid to target Garcia.
In about a month you bring back Cole as a tweener to team up with Garcia. Then in 2025 you have a storyline about whether Garcia can or cannot trust Cole.
Meanwhile you book MJF to assemble a group of mercenaries and bodyguards from talent Khan doesn't use, in light of Moxley's group running riot:
MJF, Wardlow, Miro, E. J. Nduka, Hobbs
I would say it's a shame about what's happened to MJF, but he brought it on himself.
What else can they do? Tony booked himself into a corner
Hopefully they'll stay clear of the devil story but Cole works better as a Face and MJF as a Heel, so at least they've rectified that.

AEW is like WCW 2000 with none of the legacy. They have a guy whose daddy can pay people millions of dollars to do nothing. For all the praise we the Cult give MJF, he's clearly not as smart as we gave him credit for. He should have talked to Jim Ross, who actually took less money to movie from WCW to WWF (with a few stops in SMW along the way), but came out a legend in the long run. MJF should have gone to WWE.
I'll take cole seriously if he wrestled in tights and a leather jacket. He should never have his body exposed.

Jim needs to face the fact that MJF is also responsible for his regression. Perfectly happy to stay in AEW, not challenge himself and go along with Tony's terrible ideas. His promos have gotten lazy and repetitive. Heels like him shouldn't be in workrate type matches.
