Of all the things that encumber human flourishing, none can be a bigger obstacle than the lies we tell ourselves. Knowing that we are children of God, we should never entertain any narrative, whether self imposed or created by others, that devalues our worth. Thank you, Mother Natalia, for reinforcing the idea that our value comes from a God who is eternal. It is an idea that must be reiterated, as we tend to lose sight of our value in the midst of this sea of negativity that is the modern world.
My earthly family made a point to inform me how unworthy and unlovable I was from a very young age. Even when a dear caregiver passed away, all my earthly family could say was that I made this person suffer by being cared for by them and didn't deserve their love. Even though I knew, deep down, it wasn't true. It remained with me. I applied the same "logic" to how the Father loved me--- which was at a cost to Him. I left my earthly family almost a decade ago now, and though I've stumbled quite severely, He was there. He's always been there.
This is so good. The lie that I am a burden to God and that He merely puts up with me has been a constant struggle. Recently I heard Holy Spirit whisper to me, “I don’t love you because I’m merciful; I’m merciful because I love you.” The reality of this truth is transforming my life.
Thank you, Mother, for the beautiful reflection. This truth is so simple, yet eternally deep... so much so that we will spend all of eternity entering into the mysterious depths and significance of what it means to be God's beloved. I pray that Christians do not mistake the simplicity of this understanding for its depth, as I once did🙏🏽 Praise God for making us His beloveds in Jesus Christ. Thank you again, Mother. I'm praying for you and your ministry!
After failing in a promise to god I prayed the rosary today and contemplating the apostles who were witness to Jesus and ashamed and embarrassed of my failing God again I asked why do you continue to love me even though I fail in some of my promises? the response in my heart was with an incredible feeling of unconditional love ‘you believe in me without seeing me’. It was complete knowing love. Mother Natalia you always show your heart Please continue with PWA.
I think He also loves us because we're simply worth it to Him - we give undeserved gifts to those we comsider worth gifting, so God keeps forgiving and loving us because we are in a sense worth it to Him.

Well.....I've now edited my comment, which I posted at like 3 am. Regret saying some things, so will try to be more clear now. Basically, I think that whether or not one is valuable or lovable doesnt strictly depend on others considering you as such but you BEING such. When God delights in us or considers us worth loving, He isn't simply imagining that this is the case, akin to how one could buy a pet rock and treat it like a living animal and as if it were as valuable as an actual living animal. Rather, God delights & values what is actually valuable in some real sense. Now God certainly considers us delightful, but our delightfulness is truly in us, and not something purely external to us as if we ACTUALLY aren't delightful. God in His all knowing and all holy nature just recognises that. Of course, we are sustained in existence by God at every moment, so we should always be grateful to God for having existing value - in that sense, as well as a few others, our value is in God & depends on Him since we are sustained in existence by Him. Plus, the very concept of human beings and the value belonging to them is rooted in God as the source of all possibly existing natures, so it depends on God in this higher way too. Another thing though is that I myself personally don't really care all that much whether someone else appreciates me or not, except maybe God, but even then it's not really all that emotional. I am ofc VERY grateful to God for creating me & sustaining my existence at every moment, but I also think that it may be good to know one has value in such a way that it isn't isn't ONLY rooted in another person valuing you such that you actually don't objectively have value and instead it's only in the person's mind that you have. So if another person didn't give you affirmation, you wouldn't feel too bad, since your knowledge of being a valuable being isn't rooted purely in other people recognising it.
Great talk and great prayer. And I agree.... I also only recently REALLY understood that I am a BELOVED daughter of God - not just His daughter (and all of what you said about that).... I only really discovered this through listening to the Catholic exorcists on YT (!). I suddenly realized how all the subconscious, negative self-talk comes from the Devil - not God - and that it is all a ruse from the Devil to try to keep us from being joyfully and securely in the arms of our Father.... The Devil wants to ruin this closeness and intimacy we otherwise would have with God so that he can keep us and the rest of the world in his darkness.... I have to remind myself of this every time I have negative self-talk - and it works - it really works. For the first time in my life - in my mid-forties! - I learned that I am ACTUALLY lovable and beloved - ! A BIG THANKS to our exorcists and their teachings - !! And thanks to Mother Natalia for shining a light on this as well (and in such a humble, generous way!).
@@HiLoGuurl Hi! There are many videos now on YT by our exorcists, but I can direct you to a few good places to start. Unfortunately, I can't find the exact one where they show the prayer "I reject the lie that I am inherently [fill in] and..", but I can say this much: When I first learned that this negative self-talk comes from demons, I did as recommended and said this prayer 3 times - and the following night I had a dream about a demon that had "killed" me as a child (like so many others I have experienced abuse and neglect, and the demons take advantage of these wounds and our vulnerability) - but I found myself liberated from this demonic influence in my life, that was always tearing at my self-esteem, because I had actively rejected him/them and their influence! This has been a complete turning point in my life (praise be to God!). The exorcists talk about giving these deliverance prayers a try when it seems like we have a negative "wall" in our life that nothings seems to be able to penetrate, even if we pray "normal" prayers etc. I definitely had a wall, thinking I was really unlovable, with very low self-esteem, and nothing seemed to really help - until I did these deliverance prayers rejecting the demons (!). @@HiLoGuurlBelieve it! Jesus is there for you! He wants to take care of you! He died out of a personal love for each and every one of us - and the Devil can't take it, so he does everything he can to try and discourage us and make us feel far away from God - but we are not far away - our Father's arms are NEVER far away! It doesn't take more than a cry out to Him: "Jesus, please take care of my heart, and in my need please show me how You love me - thank You!" Here’s the difficulty for me: if the threat of being confronted by God and Him saying “depart from me, I never knew you” or the Master coming before me and seeing how I wasted my talents says, “be gone into the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth” or Him separating me as a tare from wheat, a goat from sheep, looms over my head - how can I conceive of myself as beloved of God? After all, he said that to his Son - for the rest of us our relational status with God seems to be based on the culmination of the choices we’ve made in life, whereupon on the end, we will be judged. In short: how are you so sure you are beloved when your beloved holds over your head the threat of being eternally cast out?
If you're allowing and cooperating with His grace, if you're in a state of grace (confessed from all mortal sin) following the commandments and loving your neighbour, than all you gotta do is trust Him. There's no more you can do, the rest it's up to Him. Remember, Jesus died for us. Trust in His love! (I say this because sometimes I feel the same. But we cannot despair of our salvation. That was Judas's real sin).
Man let this be your lesson..Believe what God say,do not believe devils who threatening with hell and pain... To you He also has spoken, when He told you to pray `Our Father`` So if anyone come to you and say to you if you are child/son of god you need to do sacraments, confessions,or any kind of rituals, rebuke him...Because God's Word is AMEN. All that devil asked is to prove by doing things/works...Same to Eve..If you eat,you will... only lunatic can think that God who is love will torture children in fire forever...Only twisted man's mind can produce that, which brings us to true biblical devil - Carnal mind Rom 8 : 7

i dont understand how this love even works in the reletionship with God, and i really need to know, because how can i tell my atheist friends who came from broken families that God loves them. Does anyone have any thought?
Yeah God made me but He doesn't love me right? That's my issue that I've always struggled with, and it's a reflection of my relationship with my biological parents. It's what colors our vision of God the Father. God's answer to me was that He gives me my life in full abundance and forever more and without diminishing for no other reason than unconditional love of me even before I ever was. And for `me' read every single human being who ever has been, is and is yet to come.....of course. Yes folks, that includes all our enemies too. I didn't believe it anymore than the next person and I've wrestled with this concept all night (all my life) as Jacob did by the river one night. Why would anyone love me unconditionally? I don't even love me. But think about it. If God created us out of love then what did any of us do to deserve or earn His love? Nothing, of course, because we didn't exist yet. Life is pure gift. We have no right to even have life and our self entitled world needs to know it. We don't earn God's love, we already have it. We just have to accept it and live it. When I used to walk the walk of `I am who I am,' I walked in the Devil's playground. But when the light of God's own life in us comes on and we see it, then we walk in the light because our life is no longer our own making, and we are no longer our own god As St. Paul said - It is now not I who lives but Christ who lives in me. I've come to see, over time, that Paul actually means what he said. It's the end point of John the Baptist's proclamation - I must decrease and He must increase. When Christ lives in us, Satan can go to hell.
Does Almighty God who made all things have total control of Satan? Must Satan do whatever his all powerful Creator, Lord and Master tells him to do? These are questions that would normally trigger your logic circuits if you have logic circuits and they have not been disabled by religious indoctrination.
ST. JOHN HENRY CARDINAL NEWMAN: “God beholds you. He calls you by your name. He sees you and understands you as He made you. He knows what is in you, all your peculiar feelings and thoughts, your disposition and likings, your strengths and your weakness. He views you in your day of rejoicing and in your day of sorrow. He sympathizes in your hopes and your temptations. He interests Himself in all your anxieties and remembrances, all the risings and failings of your spirit... He encompasses you round and bears you in His arms... He notes your very countenance, whether smiling or in tears... He looks tenderly upon you... He hears your voice, the beating of your heart and your very breathing. You do not love yourself better than He loves you.

Lucifer cleary suffers from delusional thinking, saying he will this and he will that and he will take the throne of Yahweh... when, obviously he was unable to do that and never could handle the job even if he did. Lucifer already was a top level Angel, not a creature. All by the Creator's design. Either the creator already knew exactly what Lucifer would do, or the creator is not all knowing and all powerful. So God made Satan to motivate people to love God ? The only thing people 'do' for salvation is sin, and that too is by God's design, 'free will' humans can only think with the neural network shoved in their skulls by God. Everything is part of God's grand design, by definition, beyond human understanding, So we put our faith and love in Him. :-)
In Mark 1:12, why did the devil test Jesus by saying, "if you are the son of God..." If Lucifer was the brightest and most intelligent of all the angels, didn't he know Jesus was the Son of God? Wouldn't he know Jesus, as God, is much smarter than he? Why, in his stupidity, was he attempting to fool or trick God? ANSWER: The story of the devil tempting Jesus in the wilderness is found in the New Testament of the Bible, specifically in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. The purpose of the devil's tests was not to gather information about Jesus or to deceive Him, but rather to challenge Him and try to lead Him astray from His mission. According to Christian theology, the devil (often identified with Lucifer) is portrayed as a fallen angel who rebelled against God. While the devil may be intelligent, his rebellion against God was driven by pride and a desire for power. The devil's intelligence does not grant him omniscience or an understanding of the divine plans of God. When the devil said, "If you are the Son of God," he was not questioning Jesus' identity or knowledge. Instead, he was trying to provoke doubt and appeal to Jesus' human nature in order to tempt Him. The devil wanted Jesus to use His divine power for personal gain or to test God's protection, rather than fulfilling His mission to save humanity. In response to the devil's temptations, Jesus consistently relied on the Scriptures and affirmed His commitment to God's will. He did not succumb to the devil's tactics but demonstrated his unwavering obedience to God. The devil's intention was not to fool or trick God, but rather to test and tempt Jesus. The story serves as a demonstration of Jesus' strength, faithfulness, and victory over temptation, as well as a reminder of the challenges that believers may face in their own lives.
When reflecting on my past, I realize that I did everything to convince myself of the opposite. I tried to convince myself that there is no God, but I could never make myself do so for long. I had to accept, and still often struggle to accept, that there is a God and that I must follow Him. I am reminded of C.S. Lewis’ nickname, “The Most Reluctant Convert”. I was certainly not to that extent, but I sympathize with that name sometimes when I think of where I used to be and who I was.
@@ABB14-11 Thank you. I wasn't always an atheist - I just couldn't believe in scripture when the world is full of so much evil and tragedy. Some times, however hard it is, you just have to accept reality. Thank you once again. Take care.

@@Mimse79 Thank you for recommending resources you've found helpful, I really appreciate them. You have described my exact situation, I definitely have a "wall" too. May God deliver me from the lies just as He has done for you!
It doesn't take more than a cry out to Him: "Jesus, please take care of my heart, and in my need please show me how You love me - thank You!" Your Mother, Mary, is there for you as well - a gentle, but STRONG mother, who will also NEVER let you down! TRUST in Jesus and stay close to Him - He will take care of your heart!! For any trust issues, I also highly recommend "The Surrender novena" given to fr. Dolindo (found several places online). But first step is breaking the wall by using these deliverance prayers, so that you can gain freedom in Christ and come to experience His love in a new and powerful way. I wish you well on your journey! God bless.
God bless. The covenant of Christ is "motherhood." So these people did know about these things for 2000 years now. Please say the Jesus prayer.
This is so so so good❤❤❤
I also asked God, "Why do you put up with me? Why do you grant me such immense graces!?"
He replied, "Romans 8:30-39"
It was brilliant, thank you! My Guardian Angel led me to this video ❤

Thanks
Here’s the difficulty for me: if the threat of being confronted by God and Him saying “depart from me, I never knew you” or the Master coming before me and seeing how I wasted my talents says, “be gone into the outer darkness where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth” or Him separating me as a tare from wheat, a goat from sheep, looms over my head - how can I conceive of myself as beloved of God?
Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
Man let this be your lesson..Believe what God say,do not believe devils who threatening with hell and pain...
To you He also has spoken, when He told you to pray `Our Father``
So if anyone come to you and say to you if you are child/son of god you need to do sacraments, confessions,or any kind of rituals, rebuke him...Because God's Word is AMEN.
All that devil asked is to prove by doing things/works...Same to Eve..If you eat,you will...
only lunatic can think that God who is love will torture children in fire forever...Only twisted man's mind can produce that, which brings us to true biblical devil - Carnal mind Rom 8 : 7
This. I am not loved, I am threatened. I have only fear as a motivator.

Remember, the merciful Father doesn't get angry at us when we return home after having sinned and wasted our inheritance. He welcomes us, forgive us and throw us a feast.
Maybe meditating on His passion will help you. St Anne Catherine Emmerich has a great book on this topic.

i dont understand how this love even works in the reletionship with God, and i really need to know, because how can i tell my atheist friends who came from broken families that God loves them. Does anyone have any thought?
Good video

This whole video reminds of this song. I listen to it when I’m struggling to remember my belovedness

ANSWER:
The story of the devil tempting Jesus in the wilderness is found in the New Testament of the Bible, specifically in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke.
*ok but what was jesus doing with a young boy at 4am in the garden of Gethsemane* ? seriously.... I need an answer this is testing my faith big time.

Careful !
As an atheist, I still feel it must be so comforting for people who can convince themselves that there's a God.
Whatever’s bothering you I hope it works out. Maybe give God a chance one day
@@ABB14-11 Thank you. I wasn't always an atheist - I just couldn't believe in scripture when the world is full of so much evil and tragedy. And there are no biblical or philosophical arguments that can make sense of it all, only unfalsifiable claims that don't stand up to forensic critique.
Some times, however hard it is, you just have to accept reality.
Thank you once again. Take care.
@@fatstrategist Thank you for replying. I guess belief is subjective to experience and interpretation.
Many religions one bible. How is that possible?
*how can satan tempt jesus* ? Jesus is the son of God and God. How can satan tempt jesus with things that already belong to God?
