I have a 2011 cruze 2lt and even when I turn the fan off the light stays on and so does the vent type light. I've seen them off before but don't know how I did it! Any ideas?

I've gotten the light completely off once I had to play around with it for awhile double tapping through different modes...

Ok I figured it out!
1. turn the fan on
2. turn (front) defrost on
3. turn fan back off
4. press (front) defrost again
keep in mind you can only use front defrost in order to turn it off use the above steps in that exact order

I have 2 questions, can the air be turned off completely? Turning the fan knob the minimum value is 1 and not 0.
When I press the recirculation button, I keep hearing the external smog entering the passenger compartment, do I have a fault or do I have to set something?

The first position is OFF, then 1 and higher...

Car off turn the a.c. off but have to manually turn on the compressor from the cold light is that normally

Fadil Murati I think the automatic climate control is only in the ltz models
