So I’m new to the recurve life. Been shooting Mathews for years, but I want to have a “traditional” bow, so really want to build this riser setup. What length limbs are you using? What’s over all length? I’m 6’3” and I draw 31”. I shoot longer riser bows much better.
@@anthonyhernandez7190 I've owned both sights, and they are both awesome you will love either. The removable sight pin on the axcel is a bonus and it's rock solid, but I prefer the the shibuya and sold the RXL in the end. The shibuya is just as solid and quite a bit lighter that the axcel which felt nicer to shoot with.
@@shoreshotarchery with the lower shelf I would have thought this would change the sight settings.. But this does raise a question not answered in your other videos. Is there a difference between shelf and sight mounting bracket?
Skip to 19:13 if you want to just see me shoot
"Well we made it."
*groan* ;)

I shoot long limbs on a 25" riser. Overall length is 70"
@@shoreshotarchery does the longer length feel more stable, just like longer axle to axle does on a compound?
@@nate4036 I would say it makes it feel smoother. The weight is spread out more. Also a longer bow tends to be more forgiving.
@@shoreshotarchery I find the longer compound length is more forgiving as well. Your setup sounds exactly what I want
@@shoreshotarchery I don’t want to bother you, but curious if you have chrono tested for speed yet?
Shore shot for the winnnn!
did you order axia limbs too? if you did have they arrived cause my xd riser is here but not my limbs
I ordered axia limbs as well. No they ha e not arrived yet
@@shoreshotarchery oh will you do a review on them when they arrive? also would you recommend the axcel sight or shi buys just been torn between them

Cool vids Anthony
I can't believe that you're taking your first shots at 70. Brave. I would have started a lot closer.
1st shot turned out to be an 8 low. So not bad

@@davidbryan4978 I will have to look into that. I added to my list
Buen español 👌
