It’s even more when they mean the world to you and you they talk about being together but then gets with the guy you told her was bad for her and even though that happen you still can’t forget about her no matter how hard you try rip lol
The main takeaway from the lyrics is a person who struggles with true love and commitment. After being hurt so many times in the past by different people or the current person you're with. You're afraid to really give someone your whole heart in fear of it getting crushed which in reality just self sabatoges yourself and the relationship which causes the other person to eventually leave. Just lost a 6 year relationship because thats how I am. Loved her with all my heart, but was to afraid to show it.

The main takeaway from the lyrics is a person who struggles with true love and commitment. After being hurt so many times in the past by different people or the current person you're with.
