Definitely makes the game feel more like a chess match against the computer, for anyone else I went ahead and dropped the player speed scale down to 25 and it’s perfect for me in my opinion. The cpu may bust a play open and vice versa really feels like what we see on Saturdays! Thank you for these lol!
I’m playing WR for Alabama and Milroe threw 26 interceptions last season. I don’t understand why EA can’t make the cpu more realistic. It’s not even fun bc my qb is completely incompetent. He didn’t throw a single lob pass the entire season. I would burn my defender off the line and be wide open for a touchdown only for Milroe to throw a bullet pass for no reason and get intercepted.
but when you play against the cpu they throw 26 for 26 no picks like ea clearly knows how to make it work but they make the qbs trash asf for no reason
You really have to time your throws. Throw at the break on corner route for example. It really penalizes you for misstiming throws. Once it clicks, it's almost too easy

When playing road to glory and your a qb and you want the receivers too catch better and o line block better do you turn up cpu slider or player skill genuine question
For Heisman mode no I’m not even touching that fortune teller bullshit. I want the game harder, not omnipotent. But if you could get some AA sliders that would be great
I used a set of sliders from NCAA 14 on AA and the game still remains difficult but manageable. You won’t get smoked by an FCS school. Speed Threshold needs cranked to 95 or your 93 speed WR will still get caught by D linemen.
Try 10 minute quarters with accelerate clock on and minimum play time 12 seconds it’s not as long as it sounds with accelerate clock. Also any team in the MAC or Sunbelt would be good for dynasty if you want to start at a lower school
Ty for the sliders I needed these. For me my receivers just all seem like they have 0 catching ratings. In road to glory on Heisman they literally need to be wide open to catch the ball and don’t even always catch wide open passes. A defender could tap my receiver in the toe and it would cause a breakup somehow.

If DPI penalties are more common the ai won't be as aggressive as they're trying to avoid getting the flag. It's almost like how ai defending is in fifa as they won't be that aggressive as they're trying to avoid giving up a penalty.
I think you should buff cpu and user pass coverage and pass reaction time offense is way too easy once you get some elite wrs I had a 63-83 loss in the semi final to Oregon

Heisman isn't that bad I'm a 1 star school and I won 5 games year 1 had a hell of a recruiting class and I'm hanging with every team now. 4-0 year 2 I play whole game 10 min quarters. People who cheesed a lot on Madden are main people having issues 🤣

But this game the o-line can't pass block . receivers can't catch if there not wide open using your sliders I moved up pass protection sliders qb accuracy and put all the CPU sliders on 0 no change the cpu defense is still tuff still no time to pass
its not about nerfing it. if people want that challenge they wont nerf it but a lot of people want a realistic feel for it rather than a pure challenege. the reason sliders are better on heisman and not all american is cause players dont play to their attributes like speed and such on the cpu side on all american.

The AI coverage is the most frustrating thing alongside pass blocking. Throwing 5 picks a game with a 90 ovr QB shouldn’t happen as much as it does

Threshold being on 95 would make them have little difference in speed
Do you feel this makes defense more balanced? My main issue is it feels impossible to get a stop on defense. I never pressure the QB at all
It feels a bit better on defense but the pure movements you can do on offense make it a whole other challenge in itself
Usually don't comment but these are perfect. Almost the same sliders settings ive been using in Madden for the past 5-10 years. Perfect balance!
Just remember that in dynasty sliders there are some that are shared by user/cpu that settings in game settings menu is separate

For me they actually catch a lot of catch in traffic plays but as far as aggressive catches they never hold on so the balance is definitely tough.

i was put the speed scale at 25 or below otherwise your wrs get caught by linemen. in madden i drop it to 0
Problem is vice versa speed means even more than it already does so the balance is a bit tough in general.
