The main feature that I believe makes it superior to the ngal (and the reason I gave up on the ngal) is the ability to turn down the illuminators and laser brightness. If your shooting at distance lots of times the laser and illuminator is too powerful and turning it down to the sweet spot allows you to better see the targer. I guess a second one is that you can literally program that remote to have any setting you want, that's pretty cool.
@@thecontemporarygentleman I just got mine yesterday and I'm noticing my illuminator divergence wheel isn't perfectly straight. When I rotate it, I can see it's at a slight angle. I don't think it's a big deal. Wondering if yours is the same way?
@@armon8399 forgot to look that night, but I did check. Mine looks good. I'd reach out to Wilcox and hopefully they have you send a picture. I would be interested to hear the result.
To answer your question, the rubber cover is the one I am using because it fits. A revision is in order for the "garage door", and then it will be my choice.
@@thecontemporarygentleman Do you have both side screws inserted and somehow managed to get them to fit into the tracks? If so, that's wild! You're the literal only one.

Indeed!
Probably the best video I’ve seen on this unit. Thank you. 👍🏽
Thank you!
Just placed an order for a full power raid xe. Should be here next week. Can't wait
I'm glad to hear it. You won't be disappointed.

What NV tubes you have? They looked very nice
MH-1 from Low Light Innovations. I have an initial impressions video on them if you're interested.
Loved the video man! Hard to find info on these things!
Thank you! I hope it was helpful.

@@UnobtaniumsQuickReviews what's wrong with the garage door? Is it just yours, or a larger issue? Mine seems good.
@@thecontemporarygentleman The tracks in it need to be redesigned to properly fit the side screws.
I did notice a very slight gap, but so far, mine seems functional.

@@UnobtaniumsQuickReviews I believe so. My buddy's worked too. So maybe we're the only two?
Your wires hanging out in giant loops is giving me anxiety lol
😂🤣 I get it. Also, I know Big Wire Retainer doesn't want you to know this, but... ... You don't immediately die if you don't retain a wire. 😉
I got word from big zip tie that their rep is on the way
🤣😂 I actually have Magpul wire deals and I just haven't installed them yet.
I need it
