Good morning, Jojo. The trip is wonderful of old buildings; its nice and splendid! Fantastic and relaxing for a walk tour! It is so enjoyable to be in there! I feel so happy watching your footage! I look forward to your next work!
Nice 5 joke. Thanks to the farmers of the land Amazing the amount of development in the late 1800s Enjoyed seeing he buildings of the time and learning about the river impact on life in the day Cheers 12 and thanks for the heritage walk 🤠👍
Oh my the pie and coffee looked like a perfect way to start the day. Yes thank those farmers! Another great tour well organized, nice filming and editing the music choice was good. The architecture was great and obscure is fun! 😊 well done!
I don’t remember you going to Wilcania?? Nonetheless cute little town full of the old architectural buildings. Thanks for the tour Joe. It was lovely 😊😊
Coffee is the best way to start the historic walk 😍 Jail looks like a pretty building 😀 Many interesting historic sites as catholic convent, bank and elevated tank with water supply along the heritage walk. Enjoy your day guys 👍22
I am always learning about new places in Australia thanks to you guys. RUclipsrs do love their coffee. Where do you find all the info of all these places. I really like to hear about the people lived at these port towns from you guys. Holy cow, we don’t get cockatoos here. Thanks for taking us around.
cool little town, I have never been up that way. I was not aware the river was so key, but it makes sense. The flock of red tailed black cockatoos would be worth the trip on their own, brilliant. Thanks once again ✌🏻🙂
Sleepy old town, but I guess when you scratch a little deeper, there are many old and historic buildings, with an interesting history, and the town must have played a very important role back in the day, very nicely done Joseph and Peter, we don't see red tailed black cockatoos down here, amazing, and yep I would have gone for the pasty too, cheers, Steve :)
You are very right about scratching a little deeper Steve. Those Red Tailed Cockatoos was an amazing find, beautiful. Thank you for joining us on this one Steve. Have a great week ahead. Cheers ~ Joseph 🤠🙏🏼👍🏼
I lived in the old police station (1881) when I was younger, been in Darwin for 17yrs where old buildings don't really exist because of the bombing of darwin and cyclone Tracey so its beautiful to see the old buildings in and around Wilcannia. Had a fun few years living in Wilcannia made some life long friends, it's just something city folk won't understand about the beauty of Wilcannia.
@@PracillaKubank-rh6yo thank you Pracilla, I hope you enjoyed the video. Thank you for watching and sharing your connection with us on Wilcannia. 👍🏽🙏🏽🤠
You two are funny! Have some faith Peter it might be the best port ever and we need to get you an autocue Joseph so you don’t have to sneak peak your notes! You are so like me (Jilly) I can never remember my lines 🤣 nice coffee and pecan pie! Some nice 19th century historic buildings! Thanks farmers for paying for it all! Thought for a moment there Joseph you were gonna do a bridge twirl 🕺 Are all these buildings abandoned now? Where are all the people? Oo picnic time with the red tailed cockatoos. Nice water tower! Oh there are locals it’s not a ghost town! Enjoyed this guys does that make me ‘Obscure’ 🤣 Love ya’s ❤️
Thank you Jill and Nicholas, glad you enjoyed this little town. It was very quiet as we walked around. I don't always remember my lines and especially dates. But enjoyed seeing the architecture and understanding the importance it played as a river port. Have a great week. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤠♥️
Town is looking beautiful ❤ spent 8 years working in the old hospital for the aboriginal health service. The Central Darling Shire has a great app giving some great information on the town if people want a bit more. Wilcannia is a very popular place to stop for caravaners. The caravan park just out of town is always packed.
OMG!! All those Red-tailed Black Cockatoos just in the street!! 😯 We've been to FNQ & WA this year to only see them from far distances. How amazing!! What month were you there to see them?? ~ K
Got chased out of there 20 years ago by an angry mob for having the audacity to use the public phone in the main street. The old VL commodore had never got 150kmh so fast...
It didn't seem so scary visiting this place today, although if you go on line there are so many negative stories. Certainly and interesting place to walk around in. Thank you for sharing your experience with us. 👍🏼🙏🏼🤠
guys if you're going to showcase the towns, then a little bit more time leaving the camera on the buildings etc, by the time you get out of the way to show the building you cut to the next one. a bit annoying
Great day exploring 😎 I looked awhile back and we have been chatting on RUclips for years. That’s pretty cool 🍻
Spectacular WilCaNNiA presentation, Jojo👍3
Everything looks impressive!
Much thanks for the visit, Friend 🥰
See you again and all the best ~

Always great to take in the local history of areas such as this. I'm usually taken aback by just how early some places have their beginnings.

I was quite impressed with this video, I love how they have restored the buildings to their former glory, clearly seen with the Knox and Downs Store
