    This is an interesting way of reintroducing the "Mission Table" back into the game without really doing the same exact thing.

    This very much reminds me of the Grand Company Provisioning Missions in FFXIV - daily hand in a requested crafted item for EXP and a currency reward.

    I never wanted to order anything because then i will have to find someone to have it recraft and i have no idea how to do other than literally finding out someone via the chat, which then i also couldn't because i didn't even know the prices, so why would i even try, i'd rather do 20 runs of M+ and get something than get something crafted.
    BS crafting system since DF and BS crafting system now, on my own two chars i couldn't even go any further for my own profession because of how grindy they were and how much time there was left to do M+.|
    Unsubed, this game is literally a joke, i have no idea why any sane person would go through this to waste their time, like, not everyone's had the IQ of a rock really.

    since when were they not solo friendly? professions need to go back to classic style aint even ganna lie i hated it but what we have no i feel zero want or need for them classic style was more engaging

    • @chasedogman2032
      @chasedogman2032 3 месяца назад

      Honestly the Classic style was mostly worthless. This gives a slight reason to continue farming and sinking resources when players do not need stuff made or when demand from players becomes low for certain craftables that become outdated as the patch cycle goes on.
      In a way, this new system will function similarly to how the old AQ war effort quests did. Those gave a reason for players to continue to make random items that were no longer useful, like bandages or bombs or whatever, and exchange them to NPCs for a little reward.
      Sure it's not exactly the same but this is a bit better and sustainable for the long term than previous iterations.

      @@chasedogman2032 nah it was better having to level it through old zones this legit changes nothing 99% of changes make professions still feel as bland and boring as its always been that wont change. the game should never be like classic but so many simple things from classic should remain in retail. retial is just bloating everything with more mechanics and innovation just for the sake of innovating nothin is really done for fun anymore

      @@zzmr_stretchzz8772 That had to go as soon as leveling no longer took a player through every old expansion, and the game is better for it. At this point you'd have to do 2000 points of leveling through 10 different expansions and it would either take hundreds of thousands of gold in AH mats or weeks of farming for your own to get to current content. That's great if you've been playing forever, but is absolute ass for new players or someone who stepped out during BFA.

      @@willythemailboy2 fun fact all those changes neeed to be reverted, the game should be an adventure from 1 to max level idc how much gold it would take they should have just had the your progress carry for each proff you leveled if you decide to learn that one on an alt. i dont care about new players the constant goal post of seeking new players and making changes for them is whats making the game worse aswell as making the game for the endgame sweats. none of this would be an issue if the 1 to max system wasnt just fast for fast sake and instead build to be and RPG in what is an MMORPG, the game feels nothing like and rpg anymore

      @@adscott27 If everyone else is complaining about a problem, and you can't see that problem, chances are you are part of the problem.
      And somewhat ironically, the old profession system was way more solo friendly than the Dragonflight version, as everything could be sourced from and sold on the AH. So this is simply returning professions to the earlier level of solo friendliness.

    • @adscott27
      @adscott27 3 месяца назад

      @willythemailboy2 in more recent expansions sure, vanilla to wrath iirc you NEEDED stuff from other profs
      It is a problem that wow is no longer an mmo, it's the sad realisation that nothing stays great forever and that blizzard prefer to cater to super casuals over those who liked wow how it was: about interaction and working together to get things done.

    • @willythemailboy2
      @willythemailboy2 3 месяца назад +1

      @@adscott27 Sure you needed stuff from other professions, but you didn't have to go directly to another player to get them. A miner could sell titansteel directly on the AH, and a blacksmith could buy it from the AH. No interaction necessary.
      The thing is - and we have this direct from Blizzard, even if they didn't put numbers to it - that the "super casuals" have ALWAYS been the majority of the players, and "those who liked wow how it was" were a small minority. Take raiding, for instance. From one of last year's Blizzcon interviews we know that the majority of players do not raid at all, and the vast majority of those that do never do so beyond the LFR level. Dungeons are the same way; most people will never touch mythic at all. Same with PVP.
      That's why Blizzard is putting so much effort into solo content; they've finally accepted that most players will not interact with the end game content Blizzard spends so much time and effort on if it means depending on other players to do it. And even most that do interact with that content will not do so if it can't be queued.
      Thus we get follower dungeons, delves, and the barest beginnings of "story-mode" for raids. I can only hope they eventually expand that to entire raids and not just the end boss, as the LFR experience is often a disjointed mess with bosses being thrown into wings by order of convenience rather than fitting the narrative of the raid.
