Thanks for sharing. I was stationed at Clark Air Base in the 1970s and again in the 1980s. My wife and I completed our most recent trip to the Philippines on December 13, 2023 when we departed from the Clark Airport.
Clark was my first duty ststion from '85-'89. Thanks for showing us around, things sure look a lot different now. Many great memories from there plus I served with so many outstanding folks.
Yea my first duty station also from 70-74 and visiting again in the late 70s from Okinawa. Never traveled in any of those areas since most of those places were jungle and family housing I lived down the street from the Airman's Club or down town....lol worked at the Elephant Cage good times even got married there just before I left in 74. cheers.... :)
Almost - you should know the money invested meant many new job opportunities for the locals. The middle class there has benifitted mightily and are spending their earnings in the many malls there. Things got much better recently.
Maybe if more people tell Brian that Clark can be more interesting than the Stale old, over-presented walking street, ...then maybe he might find new adventure there for his vlog content?? (or not ;)
@qawwss2000: I agree, some slow-speed cruises around Clark and the back roads surrounding Clark. Maybe take us for a go-cart ride at the speedway. I think we could come up with the 30 bucks for his 15-minute ride. Then hunt down a cobra just for the views. The dead eyes on walking street don't interest me. How about a few tours of some of the 28k-55K Peso furnished rental condos in the free port zone?

Hey Brian, thanks for the motovlog…it’s something different. Clark is so clean and completely different from Trashing Street 😂 like night and day. Stay safe my friend!
My dad was in the Air Force and stationed there. so I was there before mt pinatubo. The base housing was nice and was at the elementary school short lived memories but plan to return.
Hello Brian. Thank you for all the the information you share about the hospital and your experience living in the Philippines. God bless you and your beautiful family. From Kuya Bear 🐻🙏♥️🌹😇
I have rented villas in Fontana before. It was 10 or more years ago, but the houses were nice on the inside. We also used the water park when it was open
That was weird, the green cart had a San Antinio Tx area code as the phone number.. Have you ever gone to Camp O'Donnel, thats were is was stationed for 2 years. and also at Crow Vally gunnery range for fighter jets.
I love ur motorbike vids; not many do that. The downside of moving, as a " Giant Superstar"😂 you'll be putting the next place.."on the map too! "And we'll all be follow you.
Hey Brain, I enjoy most of your videos, not the live ones, never watch them (FYI), but the ones under 25 or less minutes, I enjoy them. Just my opinion. Thanks for sharing 🙏👍
Thanks for the tour, I need to make my way over to that area eventually and do a better observation. I live at the base of Mt Arayat so it is a bit of a distance but I'm sure it will be worth the drive PLUS I am a huge golfer, so I need to check out that course you highlighted. I did have tea at the Hilton Hotel with a friend about two weeks ago but didn't check out all the other areas you visited. I remember when we when through the checkpoint you got inspected that they had the K9 and did a thorough vehicle inspection before allowing us into the Hilton Hotel. Clark Air Base must have been the Jewel of the Pacific back in its heyday. Just absolutely love the wide tree covered streets.
I rented a nice house back in 2012 on Clark Base. It was a remodeled officer housing past the parade grounds. I understand they are now selling some for a reasonable price bur only comes with a 20 year lease.
I would have in 1975 told you to put the Red Horse down if you had suggested that the base and surrounding area would be what it is today, amazing "Everything Must Change Nothing Stays The Same"
Glad to see the Moto-Vlog is back, enjoyed it. A nice selection of places visited. Do you ever get a new front fender for you bike. Also, replace that rusted screw on your mirror mount.
THE OLD BAR AREA'S WHAT IS THERE NOW. Years ago there was 100's of bars in an area off walking street. But I can not remember exactly where, I've had too many sleeps since those days 33 years ago. Those guys spent hundreds of thousands of Pesos to buy a bar back in the day--now their cash is gone down the tube, deposits down the drain..
When you were on Fontana, you should of showed the Olympic pool (50m) that is open for use. For $1,800 php, you can get a 10 swim pass. On rare occasions during the week it is used by a swim club and some expats but it is the largest pool in AC that you get a pass to swim in. I really like making the trek up there several times a week to do lap swim.....great Moto vlog...
@@qawwss2000 the place is falling into disrepair. When you go to the pool area, look at that the 2nd floor rooms facing the pool. The roof has caved in those rooms and they don’t seem to be doing anything to fix them….I am just happy to be able to swim in a monster size pool and have it mostly to myself….enjoy your swim….👍👍
That is a wonderful place and neighborhood. It would be great if more rural areas in the Philippines were like that. Do you know how much you need to live in that area per month?
Hi, I live in Davao and looking to move to the Clark area. Any recommendations on a non flood area? I notice a cheap area named Mexico do you know if it’s good? Thanks
@@stanley186 yes, and doing some a little research on the Clark area so far there’s two area I need to avoid along with the southern part which is sinking. Looking for someplace long term. Don’t want during my stay to be in water and damage to my stuff
@@malcolmsamuel7918 thank you sir and about mexico others say it's cheap in mexico but the floods are frequent I don't know if it's true or just a rumor and sir the reason why you're leaving davao is because of the floods?
You know I always watch your videos, but as a motovlogger myself, I really like watching your motovlogs of your area. So they are not going to let you inside to continue to film the improvements anymore? That would be a shame, it was nice watching it get fixed up. That area did look really clean, but I bet living there is more than most Filipinos could afford. Getting bit by a Cobra would NOT be worth getting a video for, smart move on your part. But, you know how people can be, if you don't go in, you will have idiots calling you a chicken, etc. If you go in and get bit by a venomous snake, like a Cobra, they will call you stupid for risking your life for a video. Don't be concerned about those idiots, they will never be pleased unless they are griping about something.
If you run out of material to video about, I would be interested in your choice of scooter and why? Did you get a chance to ride others and compare? Are you happy with what you have now?

Wagner is for high school, not for elementary school.
I stand corrected. However I thought Wagner was the middle school.
