Great video - I love the new Glashütte SeaQ Panorama Datum- actually just got mine (black dial) few weeks ago as I juts wanted to replace my Rolex SD43 for so
Something more special and upscale. I love it - for me, it’s the best diver out there and the accuracy is amazing (so far +1 second a day) 🤘🏻🤘🏻

Hello. Can you answer me if the lume on the black watch has a green tint to it when looking at it in the daylight? I also want the black watch but don't know if I would like the minty green look.

@@jonathanwelke to be honest, I’m the day it’s like kind of green tint but in the night it’s the same color of lume which you find in the blue dial .... it’s a damm gorgeous looking piece (even if you own Rolex) the Glashütte SeaQ is a hell of watch ... the lume is impressive and last longer

@@impexRQ hello. Thanks for the reply. OK let's see if I get this correct. Lets say you wake up in the morning and its just starting to get light outside. Woukd the numbers on the watch look white or minty green? Do they only look minty green when fully charged in the daylight or is that always the look ? I wasn't quite sure what you meant when you said it looks like the blue one. I assume when they glow both watches would be the same blue color.

Actually - This is my new daily and it’s pretty good for dressy occasions (suit) of course, with the stainless steel bracelet... This is the first time I have received many compliments on a watch ... never happened with my Rolex’s

Not many people know this, but the "SeaQ" actually is short for "Sea Qing".

Beautiful watch. How does it stand against Omega Seamaster w/ inhouse mvt?

Juice I think there is not even comparison. Glashütte is a high horology watch manufacture... the level of finish in the case, dial and movement is superior. It’s more like Blancpain, AP diver level

I'm not sure wether we could tell this watch having free sprung balance like what found in "BP 50 fathoms", as I see that it have the Swan neck regulator for adjusting the rate of its balance spring movement. Anyway I still love this watch more.

This is a very beautiful and intriguing alternative to my Submariner. Over 30 years my Subby has been a tough, Kubota tractor of a gentleman’s tool watch. Now, my tool watch is a Sinn and I’m thinking of trading-in my Sub for a higher horological alternative, like this one! Can anyone answer what the maintenance cost/frequency is for this stunner? I know that the warranty 3 vs 5 years for the Rolex. The movement is just gorgeous!

Gilbert Rose well, for me was the same case (juts replaced my Rolex Sea Dweller 43) as I was looking for something more unique or special and of course I wanted a high end watch (very important for me was to be able to see the movement through the case back. I wanted something I could wear every single day (the AP diver was disqualified at this point as I know that bezel will scratch after the first day and the moment it’s juts too small for the case, it doesn’t look right) - so at the end, I wanted the Blancpain FF but once I saw the Glashütte SeaQ Panorama Datum, I knew it was the one. I love it (had for about 3 months now) and I can tell you this watch is rough as hell ... it’s my daily (24/7) playing in the garden with the kids, pool, BBQ and of course office and meetings (well lately only home office) I don’t know the future cost but man, the SeaQ is a hell Of watch (you will fall in love once it’s on your wrist)

I just purchased the SeaQ Pano and love it. I also have the previous Sport Evolution Pano I purchased in 2009 and I've had zero problems in the 12 years I've owned it.

How much does it weigh on the bracelet?

Why does the stock photo of the black one show green hands and numbers? They both look identical white here.

Very nice watch. Surprised it's being offered with that cloth weave strap. Professional divers tell me a cloth/nylon strap is a no go. Could get snagged on something sharp. Rubber strap would have made more sense with as an option. Also, the box crystal over the dial has entirely too much distortion for any serious diver to use as the go to instrument. Legibility is the number one priority here, follwed by accuacy and durability. Wildly overpriced as is the case these days.(IMHO)

They offer this model with a rubber strap, too.

You can add rubber and stainless steel as well, the Cloth weave is perfect for a more casual and daily wear but if you really want to go diving - you can add the rubber or stainless steel. Legibility is actually the best this watch bring into the game. The distortion only appears in certain angles (juts like the Rolex Deepsea which I also had) but this one has the best legibility (Lume as well) of any diver out there ... it’s success
