Muse and Crown the Empire bass players have lit up fret markers. Also I saw Crown the Empire live, IDK if it was their bassist or a tech who played a bit of Time is running out by Muse during soundcheck.
Alejandra Villarreal from The Warning has lit fret markers on the upper edge of the neck of her Spector bass, as her sister Daniela also has them on her Paul Reed Smith guitars.
This is such a bop, no matter how many times you hear this its such a groove and I love how you just have fun while playing it

I'm 15 and just started playing bass about 6 months ago in june/July ish. I've officially been playing for about 4-5 months (took a break for a month cause of a wrist injury in august).
You've been a huge inspiration for me. To see you've been playing since you where 15. Bohemian Rhapsody is my current conquest and this is my next. I always look for cover artists before I start and you've been my go to. I just wanted to thank you :)

I saw Muse live about ten years ago,probably at their peak before he married a supermodel and the music went soft, funny that.
Matt Bellamy is terrifyingly talented, I have seen a few thousand bands live since 1995, I worked as a festival stage manager so that helped. Matt did a piano solo, guitar solo, synth solo and incredible vocals, so perfect he must be an 👽, the bassist and drums are super tight. I hope you see Muse as often as possible!🎸

I grew up playing cello so I feel like we have some commiseration in all the tunes packed with repetitive whole notes... like anything written for cello is just 247 repeats of the same damn Fsharp followed by a Bflat and then "DC al Coda" LOL.

@@lvghstd not much it’s a pretty easy song to if your able to practice with no distractions then it should take to days to memorize the whole song but you should start by writing the tabs then practice but I promise it shouldn’t take long

They are built into the frets, the bass is made by Status Graphite and they do custom inlay LEDs :)
