SM and DSP fell after disbanding it’s 1st gen idols. SM had to bet in Boa and then TVXQ to remain operating. Which gained success.
While DSP on the other hand lost it’s 1st generation idols they didn’t debut successful trainees. It failed to continue it’s legacy of the pioneer agency to gain profits. It created a gap for which they’re forgotten until they release KARA. Tho kara conquered japan and korea. That success was not enough to fulfill that gap which we say YG and JYP extremely rose.
