I don't know why anyone would actually want an OG ps1. I think the process goes something like this: You want to play ps1 games and you know very little about Sony consoles. You buy a Ps1. You learn about Sony consoles and realize you should have just bought a Ps2. You buy a ps2, and put the ps1 in your basement. As someone who is working on a complete Ps1 set, and plays a lot of ps1 games, I sure as heck don't play on an old ps1 console.
Not only that ALL PS3 consoles will play PS1 games. The other thing is people who love music actually use the PS1 as part of their stereo setup. It actually has a very high quality sound for CD's.

Just curious if it would have been more efficient to start with the consoles on the table next to the testing table and that could also double as the cleaning table as well. Then the boxes and controllers go on the table where the consoles are. This way everything is moving in one rotation and not bouncing around and criss crossing stations.
Im looking for a modded console that has something like the SD card mod with all the games. Mostly a PS2 and i like to get an Original Xbox as well. You wouldn't happen to have connections to people that do the mods would you?
Regarding Amazon FBA, if Amazon loses your PS1 FBA shipment how do you recoup the cost of that lost shipment since it requires invoices from a list approved distributors/wholesalers? Essentially if they lose a shipment you're pretty much out of luck?
A bit of an enquiry question... did you not check each of the models of PS1? As i am pretty sure they all have different ribbon cable lengths.... The only way round it is ribbon extension cables, so you may need a few of them as well!
What is everybody at CATRP’s favorite PS1 game? I fee like you guys were N64 kids like me and missed a lot of the ps1 classics when they first released.
Bundle with 2 controllers/cables, a game or two (desirable if possible) and they sell better as an out the box ready to play system. Replacement only consoles are slow movers for me too ps1/360/OG Xbox really just sit there. Wii replacement consoles sell well but otherwise I try to bundle as a ready to play bundle and eat a few bucks an move them.
