That’s easy I had both and still have the 6 series the 640i give wayyyyyy Less problems I’m not sure why bout both with very Lowell miles the 650 lasted me about 2 years with no serious problems the 640 has higher mileage and I’ve had it 6 years and I can say it’s definitely not as fast but more reliable
@@guupie1I’ve had a 2015 for about 5 years and it has been amazing it probably wasn’t kept up as well the repairs and parts are pretty expensive but once u put it up to par it will run like a dream

Just got mine MHD2+, FMIC is literally sandwiched between the condenser and radiator, from the log I’m not getting any IAT drop compares to stock Intercooler, I don’t know is it because the active grill that has been limiting the temp drop or is it just too tight siting in-between the other two causing bad ventilation. Any ideas?
@@rnrmotorsports much appreciated for the reply boss, I’ve consulted some 5series owners they saying 5and 6 design is quite different from 3 and 4series, upgrading FMIC won’t do much on the IAT, they’re also getting 40-60 degree C from the Log which they claimed to be normal, but compares to my 340i 35-40c after FMIC, 6 is ridiculously high temp, which is definitely not a good thing when hitting 20psi. Have you logged your ride after FMIC installed? And how is your IAT?

I don't plan on daily driving the car since these PA roads already took a toll on it. Also burble tuning can you just turn it on or off or once you tune it its there. Aside from the downpipe I have a resonator delete replaced with a vibrant xpipe and factory mufflers. With the MHD tune you can have different burbles in comfort mode and sport mode, so what I do is run no burbles in comfort and burbles in sport for when I want them. Also I’ll link you the downpipe and intercooler in a reply to this comment

definitely the active grill, with mhd i flashed the sport cooling option which significantly dropped my IATs and keeps the active grilles open more

It wont add horsepower but it will increase your 0-60 and 6-130 times by shifting faster
