    Very impressive job, I thought my bilge was tough. Great video.

    I've done this many times and I've had to deal with some tough spaces and crappy bilge access but I've never seen one as hard to work in as your boat. I give you massive props for getting in there and being able to get that done man. What a tough job

      If it wasn't for the camera I would still be trying to figure that one out, my arm was stretched to my shoulder down the access hole so there was no way to see what I was doing. Thanks

    Whenever I make a butt connection, I use marine heat shrink connectors (as you have) but then I also put a separate larger piece of self sealing marine heat shrink over top of the entire thing for that extra layer. So far no issues :)

    At the 12:56 mark, what is the role of the hole in the hull in the top left of the screen?

    Where did you get the PVC connector that is attached to the bilge pump.

    Why not fill the old holes with epoxy?

      It will be coming up as well as the console wiring, once we get back on this project. Make sure you subscribe so you can see it. Thanks

    Why u not use automatic pump ?

    • @SmokinReels
      @SmokinReels  3 года назад

      The foot switch will run the pump automatically. If that switch fails(which they do) we can swap it out without replacing the whole pump. We will also have a manual switch on the dash. That will be coming soon so stay tuned. Thanks for watching.

      The control wiring will be coming up when we wire the console. Sorry about that I’ll have to make a new video when the job is complete. Thanks for watching
