@@journeysofjames1116 your welcome James, I’d definitely say that you are one of the best friends to me in the world, that’s why I began wondering if you’d want to be friends with me on Facebook, that’s why I asked before but I understand if not
I have just booked a short Jan 2024 break in Edinburgh an I'll be travelling up by train from Newcastle. Although I have managed to book the return journey with LNER, there are no LNER tickets for the outward leg, maybe because this is on a Sunday. There are however tickets with TransPennine Express but you hear so many bad stories about TPE and their service. Would you travel with them again, or opt for a different company. Lumo and XCountry also operate on this route
Bearing in mind TPE call at all stations en route. You may want something a bit quicker like Lumo who only stop at Morpeth, XC varies and there are some LNER services that also run straight through to Edinburgh from Newcastle without stopping. Can I ask which day were you thinking about travelling
CrossCountry stopped serving Chester-le-Street in March 2020 when the Newcastle to Reading/ Southampton Central services were axed as part of the scaled back timetable in response to the travel restrictions and lockdown caused by the Coronavirus
Awesome video mate, I’m definitely by your side James, keep up your awesome uploading and you’ll keep getting more nice comments from me x🙂👍🏻
Thanks

Oh ok
What's your opinion on the de-privatisation of the British railway
Umm it’s alright
