It was an awesome day to get started planting cotton 2022. We had a few bumps in the road, but we were able to overcome those and finish the day strong. THANKS FOR WATCHING
When I was coming up here in Mississippi my dad planted cotton with a mule. One row at a time. I wish my dad could see you guys planting cotton, he wouldn’t believe the way you go across a field
Seriously Daniel, your dad needs to start a You Tube channel of his own! This old man could sit, listen and watch him in action all day. Nothing stops him! Say hello to Granny and stay safe.
@@JoshuaSmith-xw6jp Please tell me you don't operate a motor vehicle because if you are too dense to know what a joke is there's no hope for someone like you. Catch a bra*n.
When Dad says, “That’s the right depth.” I’m listening real close, ‘cause he’s forgotten more about cotton than I will ever know. Another great video, Daniel.
Something I noticed about your dad and the older generation that I know. That when we dress is shirts tucked in and pants ironed.. IAM guessing the military has a lot to do with my theory it did with Father and uncles. To your family and all your subscribers have a wonderful Memorial Day.
Daniel, Why did you guys plant cotton so late ? We planted cotton a month ago here in much high latitude area with cold weather. We covered the seeding land by plastic to improve soil temperature by mostly equipment operation. Our cotton yield were above at least 3000 lbs lint per acre and average 4000 lbs. Probably you can do some experiment in your land which is much fertile than ours. In the same time, this is a very good vlog topic on cotton planting.
Daniel good thing you located this in the field not on the highway. Wheel coming off going down the highway could have been deadly. Good lord looking over you. Enjoy your videos as always. Keep the action coming. Definitely you all be safe!!
If it will roll on one tire then let's go. Your Dad sounds like my Grandpa did. Going to be interesting to see which does better, cultivated or no till. We have much lower yields with no till. Y'all take care. Keep em straight Granny.
If you have cotton seed processing plant in your area, I would love to see how they clean off the cotton fibers off the seeds without affecting the seed's shell. Cotten gin videos seem to show the seeds balled in cotton fibers.
Great/Beautiful Video Daniel!! Your basketball skill appears to be genetic. Oh well, you will always be able to farm!! Always appreciate y'all positive can do, will do attitude toward life. It means a lot. Good Morning Granny, y'all have a Great Week!!
Y’all are correct, during planting season anything goes…GIT-R-DONE😁G’job y’all and keep em comin 👌🏻by the way Daniel fun to see you include your dad in shooting contest…I used to do that with my dad and sometimes he would be more into it than me😂😂😂
Glad to see planting going on. We have not turned a wheel up here in west central MN other than picking rock. It is wet here & they are calling for rain later today & tomorrow. Really enjoy the videos.
GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS DANIEL. DO YOU STILL HAVE THE FARM AT SUGARBERRY THIS YEAR? I HAVEN'T HEARD ANY MENTION OF IT AND I REMEMBER WE SAW QUITE A BIT OF IT LAST YEAR.
So are there specialist cotton seed growers out there? I heard they retrieve the seeds out of the cotton when its processed? How then do they keep seed varieties separate?
Hay got a question for you start a garden what tipe of chemicals can I use to keep down gress don't want to work to hard on my garden Delbert Sanders is my name
As an Iowa farm son transplanted to Alabama I am curious as to why you use a tool bar planter as opposed to a pull type implement. Also what is the row spacing you plant on all your crops? Thanks.
That worked ground didn't look very heavy so if it doesn't get a pounding rain it shouldn't crust and the cotton should get out of the ground. Do you ever have to use a rotary hoe to break up a crust? Trouble is that if cotton is only 1/2 " deep it might get ripped out by a rotary hoe.
The old man is one smart farmer. Knows his stuff.
Make hay while the sun is shining-this is why the American farmer is successful-make things work!

Hello.
Why would he start his own? He's got one . Is every family member and employee supposed to have a channel of their own?

How many Acres are y’all able to cover with 2 12 rows? And do y’all ever plan on doing peanuts again?
GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS DANIEL. DO YOU STILL HAVE THE FARM AT SUGARBERRY THIS YEAR? I HAVEN'T HEARD ANY MENTION OF IT AND I REMEMBER WE SAW QUITE A BIT OF IT LAST YEAR.
Always got a plan to keep it rolling 👍. Did you do a video on how y'all dispose the cotton stalks?
Thanks for watching 👍😁
Dang, that single rear was sure nuff struggling!

Does planters have auto row cutoff so you dont overplant? Pray Cotten does well
Cut off, no overlap, thanks for watching 👍😁
Did you ever get the Triple R Farms apparel line up and going?
We are getting close, thanks for watching 👍😁
Do you guys grow cow peas down there also?

Thanks for watching 👍😁
So are there specialist cotton seed growers out there? I heard they retrieve the seeds out of the cotton when its processed? How then do they keep seed varieties separate?
It’s a pretty complicated process, thanks for watching 👍😁
I know they are expensive but a 1 inch drive cordless impact wrench would be a life saver on them tractor lug nuts
Did y’all not para till anything this year??
Tell granny hi hope she is doing good
Thank you!
We planted the last field corn without a dual due to a broke wedge, what ever it takes to keep it going, enjoy the videos!
That’s right, thanks for watching 😁👍
Been a cross hwy 80 many of a time
Daniel, how many acres can you plant before filling the planter up again
Which is a better cash crop corn soy beans are cotton?
Lol dad was throwing fastballs
Bullets, thanks for watching 😁👍
Its a new tractor, is it covered by warranty
Maybe, thanks for watching 👍😁
Lettin the ruff side drag
Hey Daniel do you always double drop cotton seed or only when it's dry?
I’ve been wondering why you guys use a three point planter and don’t go with a bigger pull behind. Fields look large enough to make it worth while
We plant on beds a lot and pull behind wouldn’t stay up on them, thanks for watching 👍😁
Like the garbage throws
🔥👊🔥🏍🏍🏍
How deep is the hard pan in your area? I notice yall dont rip under the rows like we have to here in south GA. Just curious...
Hay got a question for you start a garden what tipe of chemicals can I use to keep down gress don't want to work to hard on my garden Delbert Sanders is my name
I was told that cotton seed was around 700$ a bag right now ! Is that true?
How much longer do you have until your wheat is ready?
First of June, thanks for watching 👍😁
Must be hectic driving on the interstate. Doesn’t look like fun.
As an Iowa farm son transplanted to Alabama I am curious as to why you use a tool bar planter as opposed to a pull type implement. Also what is the row spacing you plant on all your crops? Thanks.
36"
3 point hitch planters are so much more maneuverable and for us over here in Georgia, they work better on rolling terrain and in our odd shaped fields
Dad needs some air under his shots. He is laying bricks. 😂
Does anyone use a rotary hoe to help emergence? We used one on soybeans to help if the soil crusted.
Y’all Planting all Y’all Crops Without Running a Strip till or Bedder
Where's PA? I know he's been gone for a while. Just curious about his absence.
I guess he took another job, thanks for watching 👍😁
How many or how many kilograms per hectare ?
Are you originally from the area? You dont have the accent like everyone else in dallas and Lowndes county lol
You should look up at the camera and giggle when you time laps, it’s funny to hear.
Ha ha, thanks for watching 👍😁
Oh yeah almost forgot hi granny Danny hope you have bumper a bumper crop
That worked ground didn't look very heavy so if it doesn't get a pounding rain it shouldn't crust and the cotton should get out of the ground. Do you ever have to use a rotary hoe to break up a crust? Trouble is that if cotton is only 1/2 " deep it might get ripped out by a rotary hoe.
