Odd as it sounds, some women LIKE "pregnancy risk sex." They don't feel excited unless that risk is there. Then, when they become pregnant, they don't actually want a baby. Some women believe most contraceptives are unhealthy and/or have bad side effects. Some dislike condoms because they think it cuts down the pleasure.
Actually the majority of abortions are performed on women who were using birth control at the time of the conception. Birth control is not foolproof. Abortion is seen as another form of birth control which it is it doesn't allow the birth of a child it kills the child before the child is born. Or in some cases it causes the child to be born and then kills the child. It's absolutely amazing to me how people through this case or now just starting to wake up to this reality of abortion. Although it's good and I'm glad that people are starting to wake up some what. But it's also just very amazing to me. So the bottom line is contraception is not the answer. A valuing of human life at every stage of development is what is needed.
This is total speculation: I am getting the impression that Gosnell serviced many under privileged women, who may not have health insurance or be able to pay for regular prescriptions. Oddly, 8 abortions may be cheaper (especially given Gosnell appears to have been conducting them on the ultra-cheap) than a consistent supply of prescriptions. Of course, condoms are cheap, but isn't necessarily her lane or 100% in her control. Whatever the reasons are, it sounds like it is a really ugly situation she is in, and I guess it is good that she doesn't have 8 children around complicating the situation. Probably none of you have ever heard of something called trauma reenactment. It is when we subconsciously set ourselves up to reenact a trauma that we have experienced. Sometimes people continue reenacting that trauma over and over again if they don't get any kind of intervention. I am pro choice/personal sovereignty minded. I believe a woman should be able to do whatever she wants with her body. We can debate the ethics/morality of 1st or 2nd trimester abortion all day. This though is clear, this is so obvious to a normal thinking person. When you have a baby birthed and moving around, crying, breathing it is alive and viable. If you snap her neck, or cut his spine or drown her in a toilet, YOU HAVE COMMITTED MURDER. There is no dilemma, no quandary in this case.

I am pro choice/personal sovereignty minded. I believe a woman should be able to do whatever she wants with her body. We can debate the ethics/morality of 1st or 2nd trimester abortion all day. This though is clear, this is so obvious to a normal thinking person. When you have a baby birthed and moving around, crying, breathing it is alive and viable. If you snap her neck, or cut his spine or drown her in a toilet, YOU HAVE COMMITTED MURDER. There is no dilemma, no quandary in this case.

Another individual is not her body. A human being is a human being, you cannot deny that. You can try to get around that all you want, a human being is a HUMAN BEING, and killing an innocent human being is murder regardless of whether that human being is in or outside of the womb.

I see a lot of people complaining that this isn't getting more media attention across the US. Why should it? That is the problem with the USA, everyone wants to be in other peoples business. Reality TV, high profile news coverage, it is disturbing. All the fat housewives love sitting at home though and getting "involved" in these cases and feeling like they are a part of it.

I am not saying forced abortions that is wrong. I am saying the women should have the choice, if they want to get an abortion then it should be safe for their bodies. If their is women who don't want an abortion that is also their right. It should be pro-choice. And not all States or Countries abortions are legal, many women in places where abortions are illegal still go to underground clinics which are dangerous and harmful to their bodies.

Not in defense of this doctor, I wonder if the mothers who consented to murder their babies will also be held accountable by the law as well? It's not like he tied women down and forced their abortions. I agree this guy needs to be locked up but I don't think the mothers should get off free of charge of these heinous acts of murder!!
