Technically resident evil 4 was slightly rewritten as well because krauser worked under wesker not saddler to steal the master plagas but that wasn't the issue in the remake otherwise he would of run off after stealing it from Luis plus I believe that his blade arm is a product of las plagas since it is a controlled transformation and not monstrous mutation like with t veronica

Also, In DC, leon was unhurt while krauser was badly wounded which never healed from my understanding.

If the Mercenaries mode is a legit source of information then yes. In Mercenaries Krauser can activate his mutation and it turns off after a moment so it might work that way as well. If not then I guess mutations are something that we understand instinctively or maybe since it was a Las Plagas mutation the parasite gave him all the informations about his mutation.

He went from a man seeking a path in his life to come back from a disability due to the Veronica virus in Operation Javier and seeking to find Wesker. Question his own motives with Leon. Instead he become a fucking lackey for the Illuminados because Power? Operation Javier was just a damn drug bust? Terrible. Also, his dialogue was trash compared to the original where he had more personality to him instead of being a forceful power hungry BS villain. The dialogue in the remake was literally flat nothing stands out in it compared to stuff in the original also the fucking acting was more natural than forceful in original. Leon killing Krauser and spewing that you did major that you did was literal amateur acting and writing. I would've felt bad for Krauser more if they still kept his back story from the original because I'd actually feel bad for him since you know he was actually INFECTED and not GIVEN his shit for his arm.
