Wow 95 i was 13, i don't remember most of these commercials, because kids my age those day was outside until the sun comes down, or home as soon as the streets light s come on.
The glory days of Nick At Nite when they really showed classic reruns. Now with TV Land and the current Nick At Night they show crap that's on TBS or on a local channel already.
Yep, one of the worst examples of network decay. I watched it religiously in the 90's and stopped around 2001 when my favorite shows were starting to be replaced with 80's sitcoms that were still heavily in syndication.
+80sCommercialVault Nowadays, we have "MeTV" and "Antenna TV", that has lots of classic shows. Something, "Nick at Nite" and "TV Land" doesn't do anymore!
Too bad I was a little too young to appreciate what was on N@N at the time. When N@N would come on that would be my cue to change the channel to Cartoon Network until had to go to bed.
Stupid cable ads played over a Crazy Eddie MTV ad at 5:09! That would have been EPIC to see! How To Be Swell was AWESOME. I watched nothing but Nick At Nite in the summer of 1991. I loved Dragnet and Get Smart! They had other silly segments in between shows such as The Adventures of Milkman.
+Boomska316 I haven't seen it since the 90's but I don't remember it being *awful*. It's a dumb popcorn movie. I feel that (like "Waterworld" that same year) it was made an example of because it went way over budget.
"Better living through television" What a fantastic slogan.
Nashville Network was revived on digital cable in 2012-13 and is now called Heartland TV
I feel like that first house in the first commercial was trying to hard to be a Wendys.
It must have been Dave Thomas' house.

I used to love those "How to Be Swell" segments. Some of them were hilarious.
forgot how much I liked the old Nick at Nite logo.

+Joseph A. Sobora Too bad MeTV or Antenna TV is not on Dish.

Of course nowadays Nick at Nite mostly show reruns of Friends.

Milkman and the Crazy Eddie ad will be seen in the companion volumes to this throughout the week
+80sCommercialVault Nice! I'll be waiting for them.
Was that Dee Bradley Baker in the Long John Silver's ad?
Was Cutthroat Island any good at all? I remember it being pretty heavily advertised, but never got around to seeing it.
