Have you seen the videos were they bypass the governor and get rid of those linkage for throttle cable? I just searched Yamaha g1 here on RUclips and it came up couple different guys have videos
ruclips.net/video/MEetfDOFYJk/видео.html Check this one out some cool wood work. Thanks for getting back to me I finally figured out how to share a link so thanks for getting me on that. Hopefully get some time to mess with the cart today. Cheers
My friends oil pump blew and I did the bypass like you did. As the pump isn't being used did you have any problems with it seizing up? And did the 50 to 1 ratio work out well as I don't want to seize his motor. We brought it to a shop and they wanted $700 to remove the oil pump, replacements are obsolete.
Once it’s out of the loop it has nothing to do and therefore is a bolt-on bag of weight. I’m very happy with ratio of oil. You will get smoke on first fire up each use but I would rather smoke than ‘no smoke’! If smoke bothers then use less oil...but we all know oil is good 🕺
@@Dougie1969 It blows air to a pump that pulls oil into a mixing chamber of petrol. Nowadays we just mix the oil and petrol in the fuel tank. Back then, the oils were too heavy and just sank.
