I have an afeiry power station, Sam. Its a bigger capacity unit and I use it for my kettle and toaster. On bimbles with mates, Ive been on breakfast duty many times and probably might do so at our Crafty campout in october. when I ripped out the conversion on Viv and redid her, I sorted out the afeiry for her, its now intergrated about 70% into the van and charges brilliant whilst driving and from the400 watts of solar. Having a powerstation is a game changer. I would hate to be without mine and afeiry give a seven year warranty. good review!!! best regards- Kenny
What a great video presentationn (hey, it even featured my van in a couple of scenes!) 🤩😁 One of the very first things I bought for our really bare Crafter was a portable, lightweight, 600W power station (from another manufacturer). Even with our electrics now pretty much complete including 0,5 kW solar and a 3 kW inverter, the little portable unit is so handy to have around to quickly hook up gadgets for use or just charging. This AFERIY unit has a big advantage over ours: USB 3 fast charge ports. I cannot overemphasize this: Regular USB ports with less than 2A output just don't have enough power to charge todays cell phones in acceptable times. We actually have to use an adapter on the AC side to make this work for us. You can live without one of these units, but if you get and use one - you wonder how you ever did without it. 😊
Hi Sam, I have the 2000w & 500w Aferiy power stations as you say great bit of kit, These have powered us in our campervan for 5 days with the 200w solar panel, great company to deal with as had delivery problem but they went out there way to help. great review.
Hi Sam, you know i have full respect for what you say. The problem with power station reviews is - everyone has done one and everyone has said theirs is the best based on getting the power station from the supplier, i have seen some people who have had many different suppliers and each one seems to be the best one yet. I will sure have a look at this one based on what you are saying
Thanks for the review Sam, I've been looking for a good battery bank. How is it for noise? I had one where the fan used to turn on, even if I was just charging my phone. I'm a light sleeper so had to return it.
AFERIY CHARGE VERY HIGH RETURN COST, TRY TO MAKE YOU NOT TO RETURN. I bought it due to many youtube introduce, so I thought it is good brand so I boguht it. However, It asked for a double shipping charge when i request to return. Even they said it is free delivery, but when you return, they ask you pay also their delivery cost. means you have to pay both ways. I seldom see this kind of company in UK, normally free delivery products, when we return, we just need to pay our own return delivery cost. IN THIS CASE, YOU HAVE TO PAY VERY HIGH COST WHEN YOU HAVE ANY RETURN. BETTER THINK OF OTHER BRAND. I do have allpowers station as well, their service very good. At least will not ask you pay back the stated "free delivery cost" when return. Recommand you to buy other better aftersell service brand. Afterall, not only the product itself is important, but also after sales service also very important.

The fan has only come on when charging from the mains and only for a little while
I'm gunna get a 2kw unit to run the van, no inverter or heavy batteries.
