One of my favorite crime fighters since I was a child! Van Williams was/is by far the best Britt Reid/Green Hornet and Bruce Lee made Kato more than intended!
Well done. I have never before seen so many of these clips together. I had not seen the previews and recaps of the two part episodes since the first runs.
This TV series needs to see a BluRay and DVD release already, because its way overdue-and all these special features, like William Dozier's rare on-camera explanation about what "THE GREEN HORNET" won't be, since he made his 20th/Greenway produced TV series as non-camp and straight forward as possible, is a rare and valued document, especially coming from the man who made "BATMAN" possible! Dozier, a former CBS West Coast executive, formed Greenway Productions in 1964 after being with Screen Gems (not to be confused with the SONY revived version), and his very first Greenway/20th Century Fox Television series was CBS's "THE LONER" in 1965, with former "SEA HUNT" star Lloyd Bridges. the series was created by Rod Serling, ("THE TWILIGHT ZONE") and was about a former soldier roaming the old west after The Civil War. this TV series was shortly before ABC's "BATMAN", which replaced "SHINDIG!" in January 1966, but "THE GREEN HORNET" and all the 26 half-hour shows that were filmed, are the ultimate superior, with absolutely NO equals or successors, and Van Williams and Bruce Lee are still THE superiors, especially over the likes of SONY's lousy Seth Rogan version in 2010, which was horrible! should Disney, the owners of all 20th Century Fox properties (thanks to Rupert Murdoch's stupidity and greed) ever get around to releasing "THE GREEN HORNET" on disc, they seriously need to include these special features, including all the 1966 ABC promos, and Dozier's on-camera statements-he was a remarkable producer (and the narrator of both "BATMAN" and "THE GREEN HORNET") and his TV shows at 20th Century Fox, which the exception of "THE TAMMY GRIMES SHOW" in Fall 1966, which was his only real dud! William Dozier later produced the movie, "THE BIG BOUNCE" for Warner Bros-7Arts in 1969.
I have been looking for the missing Scene to next week for those 2 part episodes. ALL of the posts on YT of GH dont have it..but it obvfously has aired as shown here UNCUT on several networks...thanks.

The Scarf was the only villain on Green Hornet who I felt was as "colorful" as the villains Batman fought!!! Green Hornet and Kato should have also visited London, England and taken on Jack the Ripper and have Kato go toe to toe with the Jack the Ripper. And Kato as a precaution brings with him his Black Nun-chuks (two sets). Following that they take on the Boston Strangler. Battles with people like this would have made the show much more exciting!!!!
The Green Hornet revealed to Batman right to his face that he is a "Crime Fighter"!!!! This should have assured Batman that the Green Hornet was working undercover!!!!!

I was a small child when The Green Hornet was on TV, enjoyed seeing show again

It's so cool. Now to wait for the 4K HD DVD.
I love how they used the old radio serial music! Also, one of those teaser announcers sounds like he's saying "Breen Hornet" 😁

Too bad this show didn't last longer! But w/ 26 Episodes, 28 counting the Batman/Green Hornet Crossover Episode, it will never be forgotten!
It should have been an hour show, but the producer only wanted half an hour, which IMO, hurt the show.
@@peterwilliams2531 I agree!
The Green Hornet fighting mob bosses in Italian is soooo cool!

Good test reels.
Woah! A decent copy of the Michael Lipton screen test in 4:3 and not that common cropped version? Thanks a ton!
Glad you liked the posting!

His kata was pretty smooth to say the least.
