@@abraham3673 It isn't complicated for people that are good at the game or play daily, but for casuals it can be overwhelming to fight against a player that can use the movement to their advantage. I think it is more pronounced in the OG gamemode because of the current lack of movement items.

The og mode is fantastic but i have only 2 complaints. 1. Games go by very quickly. 2. Its absolutely filled to the brim of sweats to the point of not being able to get a single kill. Edit: to the people spamming "skill issue" in the comments, people have been going on about how hard it is so it isn't just a "skill issue". Please, if your going to bother typing that go play ranked instead of sweating in OG it makes the game not fun.

When I dropped in for two rounds I couldn’t find a weapon. I landed fields the first round and got two pick axe kills then got semi auto sniped. The second round I landed acres and I only found a grenade and died right away….

People don’t understand. The first 3 ish seasons of chapter 1 they were working out the kinks. Season 4 and after they have grapplers and shocks and all that jazz. Players that love season 1 probably just suck lol. I started season 4 and this is mid af.
@@andraw4003difference is there was a very long period of time between Chapter 1 and OG, OG started later in Chapter 1, OG updated every week, AND it was basically the only game mode to play at the time. People will get bored of the slow pace and no heals and switch back to Reload or BR.
@Passed43 OG mode will only get better from here. Give it a few months, and we'll get to late Chapter 1, which was peak C1, and arguably peak Fortnite.
The og season makes me appreciate having kitanas and extra heals such as mini shield potions and overpowered medikits. Only because turbo building with 999 mats is insane and getting hit this mode is practically a death sentence because it has so little heals in it. It also makes me appreciate having bots in battle royale as well just because it’s nice having random people die in storm and you win by default without having to barely win games at the verge of death. I know that there is a lot of adrenaline junkies in fornite but I’m not one of them.
I know its reduntant to have so many different modes but ive been dreaming of a third gamemode of og. Could be called RLX mode or something. Made specifically for those chill gamers who just want to have fun and good vibes. It would have the old movement to keep the pacing nice and calm. Then the anti sweat addition off a 1 second cool down between each build, to entice people to actually take time to build forts (que title card) and just as the cherry on top, a setting to have the old UI. I think this is what alot of people imagine when they think og Fortnite and im sure this gamemode would have equally as many players
