Hi Abdul…1. Yes, the gas still “weeps out” but only a small amount. Assessors use this fact Sometimes to make a tightness test fail so make sure you check the oven control is off before your tt! 😁 The fsd phial is not a thermocouple. It does the same thing but not in the same way. Thermocouples use electricity where phials use the fact that heat makes fluids expand. Good questions, thanks
