Thank you Pastor Paul and praise God for this rich sermon. I am happy to take away 2 things. 1. The mentioning of the Apostle Paul riding on the pagan boat and applying it to my thoughts of self righteousness in alienating myself from things that I believe are below me due to my faith. Thank you for clarifying that as this is something I am currently dealing with. Also the end of Paul's journey. In my early Christian walk, I focused so much on the end of Paul's life with being taken away by the Romans in his ultimate death, but due to the study of the Book of Acts and Luke's wonderful details about Paul's missionary journey, I am truly inspired and grateful for the encouraging words Paul made about his ultimate reward. Just such a fruitful study of Acts. Thank you Pastor Paul and Calvary Chapel. Praise God for this ministry.
So happy with the Lord that he pointed this Calvary chapel out to me. I have been listening to you for about 3 years. Originally I discovered Calvary chapel Mike McIntosh, San Diego, as a teenager and I was drawn to This type of church, because it is a continuous teaching of the Bible. I am so grateful that God started that and he continues it.. And now all these years later I get to listen two three times a week to your excellent Bible teaching.I am thrilled and so thankful!
Thank you Ps Paul for this wonderful teaching on the Book of Acts. I must admit, as this last lesson came to a close, and Paul finished his race that he had run so well, I actually felt some sadness and grief at his demise. The people who were close to him and loved him would have felt such a loss at his passing :( But, alongside them all, I am excited that one day, because Jesus died and was raised again that I will meet Jesus, Paul and all the saints who have gone before. I just want to say that, that Jesus gives you hope, love, grace, that he take care of you all the days of your life and that he guides you with wisdom, knowledge and discipline, that Jesus directs you to God's will. Keep praying to Jesus, search Jesus and find him!!!
Wow, thank you Pastor Paul. Whst a journey! Maybe its the frustrated writer in me but I could totally see an movie from this last chapter! I actually had never gotten to the end of acts for some reason and I wish we had more info about that 4th journey to Spain. In Tarragona Spain, I believe, where they claim Paul visited. Its inside like a cathedral and its interesting because there are also some church traditions passed down through the writings of the followers of the apostles where they claim Paul did make it to Spain.
Please do the gospel of Matthew again. You did it well many years ago but noticed some points you may want to address as a lot has happened since then. Thankyou
