We have both! 11 ft. Journey tarps, one for each of my twin Boy Scouts, and a Standard DCF for me. Both excellent tarps and worth every penny. The polysil is really amazing compared to the old PVC coated nylon. We have been in some heavy rains and stayed dry. And HG customer service has always been outstanding!
Hello - at 0:59, what is the purpose of the two attachment points sewn into the middle of each side of the tarp? I know the purpose of the 2 ridgeline attachments, and the 4 corner attachments for the ground. Thanks.
Hey the first comment. I have watched some of your products through the River Kings videos. I am upgrading my hammock system this winter and researching the various options.
I would love to get a dyneema tarp but since you don't provide them with half of the "standard" attachment points I can't do half of the set-ups that I'm used to

It's super good stuff isn't it! Glad you're enjoying everything :D
My Palace DCF tarp just arrived and I set it up in the back yard. LOVE IT already and cannot wait to use it!
We're so glad you love it! Enjoy :D
@@HammockGear I will! Planning to use it on my AT thru hike attempt in '20. :)

I wish they would have made one scene with high winds. Out here in Colorado it gets quite blistering in the mountains.
With the right stakes, high winds shouldn't be an issue! Just make sure your setup leaves room for that wind to pass on by.

That's so great to hear! Let us know if we can help in any way.

We have flat tarp options with tons of pull outs: hammockgear.com/ground-shelters/
Hi, what was the weight and the dimenions of the old version cuben tarp 11ft with doors ?
We haven't really changed much on our Dyneema tarps, so they should weigh approximately the same as our old Cuben Fiber Tarps
Roll dyneema? Can it not be used with a snakeskin to store it?
It absolutely can. You just have to roll the Dyneema tarp up, rather than simply sliding the sleeve over it. Dyneema isn't slippery like SilPoly.
