That Sheraton sounded absolutely glorious! The mini-HB's with the fresonator tailpiece are a great combo on that guitar. Clear winner for me.
1. Epiphone Sheraton
2. Harley Benton ST-25TH Firemist
3. Fender Tom Delonge Strat
4. Squier Tele 40th Anniv
5. Ibanez TOD10 Tim Henson
I love these series of videos! Thanks to both of you
Thank you man, we really appreciate it! //Kris
Not surprised the HB 25th Anniversary Strat is in there. It’s amazing. It was so good I tested the waters of affordable guitars for the first time and bought it. Now I’m looking for my 3rd Harley Benton. It’s so good. And for the money very very hard to beat. Sounds great, plays great, it’s a winner
I was too young and broke for the Delonge when it first came out. I waited 20 years for this and it’s now my favourite guitar
Sheraton über alles! For sure, it's got the most tonal richness of the 5. The mini-HB have much potential. And I'm a blues player...
Sheraton, I agree. Thanks guys for the wonderful upload. Kris and Guillaume.
Thanks for the super kind words man, we really appreciate them! //Kris
I would pick the Sheraton. Such a beauty!
Those block and triangle inlays on the Epiphone are super sweet. Some of their Prophecy models use them as well.
I’d pick the Squier Stratosonic, the Strat meets Les Paul special from the Paranormal line. Having out of phase and series/parallel available makes Gibson look silly for not including it on their guitars that cost A LOT more money!
8:36 Last time i saw G this happy was when he plugged his strat into a dual tank rack reverb haha.
Also, that Firemist ST is really beautiful!
Haha, yeah love seeing him like this. Brother from another mother. 💛 //Kris

I love the Sheraton and the Tele
Double-bound Tele - that’ll do for me! 🙂
My vote goes for the Sheraton, but I think a top 10 would give more justice to a full year of guitar goodness
I recently bought the Epi Riviera (that came out last year?) and love it, so i guess my vote would be for the Sheraton. But I'm not sure i understand what the differences between the two are - aside from the gold hardware, headstock inlay and finish color options. If it's just those cosmetics, then for me, the Riviera (in Royal Tan) was the better choice.
I would be really happy with that Squier.
Yaay.. More gear that I don't have played in a way I'm not able to 😂
Vote for the epiphone 😍
GG King was in da house - you got the blues man!!! It's soooo awesome how the semi hollow slowly fades into feedback with gain
GG King. 😆 I love that. Thanks for watching buddy. //Kris
My vote is for the Epi! Looks AND sounds great.
Hey Steve, it really does, right? Great job Epi, they really nailed this one. //Kris
My old Sheraton should be afraid... very afraid!@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses
My vote goes for Epiphone from 2019 to present
I vote for Fender Tom Delonge
My vote is again for the PIA
Always and forever. 🙌 Even though I gotta say I'm more of a blue floral pattern fan. Do you remember those? The blue flower thingy body and headstock with a full maple neck. Jeez... 💛
//Kris
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses woody was my favorite
That Harley Benton sounds sweet. It would suit me.
Epiphone
I never heard of Boomer Bends and I am a '60s Boomer, I don't think my bends are any different to non Boomers
It's a joke that refers to an interview Rick Beato did with Tim Henson about his technique. Tim said he doesn't really do those boomer bends (he was referring to bluesy, old-school bends). This took off and the whole internet started talking about this which was super funny because a lot of people took it way too seriously. That's the whole story really. We love Tim's style and we most definitely love bluesy bends so we just fool around with this term and bend the hell out of Tim's guitar, haha! Thanks for watching Andrew! //Kris
Tele, too bad I have one already…
There is always space for another tele... I have 8 at the moment... 😅
Disappointed, i thought you'd play some blues on the Tom DeLonge...
Haha, we missed out on that. Next time for sure. BB King on the DeLonge coming in. 🫡 //Kris
Surprised Epiphone made the list. The quality has been crap in 2023
Please stop talking like gen z with your boomer bends.
Wait, so what's not cool? Talking like gen z or doing boomer bends? Or mixing them? 😆
And what if we are just kidding because it's fun, we like boomer bends, we always talk like this and one of us is even actually gen z? Does that explain anything? 😅
Cheers man //Kris
@@ThomannsGuitarsBasses Getting a bit old that remark.
Have a nice day Kris
... great picks ...
- a Tele ... which is all i need
- a great real Epiphone (if i ever go semi/hollow this one would be my pick very likely)
- 3 S types which are not boring at all
